I was very disappointed in this hotwire 2 star deal. Customer service was less than good, the plate and glass cupboards were broken and dirty and the refrigerator barely kept things cold enough. Even the replacement they gave me didn't work any better. The bathroom and tub was old with peeling tile and stains. If you stay 7 days your... more

I stayed for 3 nights and all I wanted was a clean room with a location convenient for the freeway. This fit the bill perfectly. And, with a Hotwire rate of $33 a night, it was GREAT! As others have said, this is not the Marriott or Sheraton, but my room was comfortable, quiet, clean, and a good place to... more

Booked our stay through priceline, got a good deal at $50/night. It is close to places to eat, a mall and freeway. It is a little unfriendly getting into and out of the place as there is a median. It was clean and neat, seemed a little old but the staff was friendly and neighborhood was nice. Would definately shop... more

Location: 2 stars - OK location off I-5. Although safe, looks like a little rundown location. Facility: 2 stars - The facility has no services other than bare bone rooms. No swimming pool, restaurants or anything of that sort. I made a reservation for a room with 2 queen beds, but instead got a room with one queen and one... more

We stayed for 7 nights in mid May 2008. The room had a strong odor of pine or something that was causing me to choke. I’m not sure if it’s the trees just outside the room or if they put an air freshener in the room after cleaning it but it’s a bit strong. The closet doors, 8’ high sliding... more

We were supposed to stay for 4 nights. We stayed one night and left. The room was clean, but worn. The bathtub had mold in it. They provide soap, but no shampoo or conditioner. There is no hair dryer in the room. They have a few hair dryers available at the front desk if you’re lucky enough to get one,... more

We stayed here for eight nights. The rooms are clean, but nothing extraordinary. We have stayed in other Extended Stays which have been a little better maintained than this one, though this certainly isn't bad. Clerk at check-in gave us an upgrade for the same price as the reg. room wasn't ready yet. Housekeeping seemed to be a little overworked.... more

We stayed here for 2 nights. Room was rather smallish but the kitchen was very nice, complete with everything we need to make our own meals. There is enough space on the counter to prepare food, eat or whatever. The rate was very competitive. If you stay in a Homestead you know that room service is limited. But we found... more

PROS: In-room kitchen, very convenient location: shopping & restaurants just a few blocks away at Southcenter Mall and I-5 & I-405 are very handy, friendly staff, well-maintained property, no outside noise, reasonable price CONS: Mildew in tub, non-supportive mattress, noise from other guests I stayed at the Homestead Suites for 2 nights in September. I loved having the small kitchen... more

Overall for the price it was a decent place to stay, but I was disappointed by the housekeeping, particularly in the bathroom. The floor was dirty with spots and stray hair (possibly not mopped after the last guest). There was also very noticeable dark milew growing on the grout around the tub and between tiles on the shower walls. The... more
