This motel is a quiet gem in Trout Lake. Everything about it says "welcome", from the cozy lobby to the friendly touches by the owners. I cannot say enough good things about the Trout Lake Motel. It is very clean and decorated in a charming manner. A real find! Nice people, beautiful setting. Very clean, well laid-out, even has wireless internet for free and dish television. The breakfast is fresh, hot, and the waffles are wonderful. We stayed at the Trout Lake Motel both before and after our climb of Mt. Adams. The rooms were large and very comfortable and had wonderful firm beds. Breakfast (fruit, cereals, pastries, bagels, muffins and sweet potato waffles) was served starting at 6:30, which was perfect since we had to meet our climbing group at 7. This place is a real jewel, we've been back four years. The rooms are charming, clean and comfortable. Even our little dog enjoys her stay.
