My friends and I have traveled the world and came to the conclusion that this is one of the finest places we have ever stayed. The attention to detail paid by Dave, Carly and Sarah is unparalleled. Their warmth and energy pervade the place. The rooms are beautiful and impeccably clean, the breakfast they provide is delicious, and the little... more

We stayed two nights in large, comfortable rooms. The motel has only 13 rooms and provides a delicious, continental breakfast with waffels, upon request. The free internet connection is strong. The owners are very friendly and readily share information about the area. Trout Lake consists mainly of a General Store, a gas station and two eating establishments. Come prepared to... more

What a great little motel. We expected a "fixed up" older place, but in fact Dave and Carley and family have built a charming little home-away-from-home from scratch--neat, cute, comfy, welcoming! The log furnishings and decor, both in the rooms and on the porch, are truly fitting to the mountain setting. The little "park" on the creek was very relaxing.... more

My 67 yr. old husband and our two teenage granddaughters wanted to climb Mt. Adams. I have more sense than that and the dog agreed with me. We could not have found any better place to wait for our climbers than the Trout Lake Motel. In all honesty, it didn't feel like staying in a motel. It felt like visiting... more

We stayed here two nights and will defeinitely return. The owners are very nice poeple and are life-long Trout Lake Valley residents who own a ranch nearby (and raise buffalo). It's a great deal, and a good base for nearby hiking, cross country skiing, and other outdoor activities, or for people who just want to relax in the beauty of... more

Lots of nice extra touches you'd expect in a B&B instead of a motel - fresh flower boxes, nice soaps, hammock by the creek, fresh wild huckleberries on the waffles. more

This was my first trip out west visiting family. My brother and I were traveling from North Bend OR to Mount St. Helen's when we needed a place to stay. My brother contacted information for Trout Lake Washington and asked if they could give us the number for any hotel in the area. They gave us the number for the... more

This motel is a quiet gem in Trout Lake. Everything about it says "welcome", from the cozy lobby to the friendly touches by the owners. Don't go by their Web page, because there's more the place like a great breakfast, satellite TV and a hot tub. Also, it's VERY dog friendly. In fact, they had a nice dog bed in... more

I cannot say enough good things about the Trout Lake Motel. It is very clean and decorated in a charming manner. The grounds are lovely and the sweet potato waffles are made for just for you when you wander in for the continental breakfast. The owners are warm and friendly and very helpful. My only regret is that we were... more
