This is a very relax motel with very nice suites. It will include kitchen with kitchen equipment. You can stay here for more than one night. The swimming pool is outdoors. You are very far away from the ocean so you'll have to drive to get to the ocean. Very friendly staff and rooms are very reasonable. This is operated... More

This place wasn't quite what we had hoped it would be, but is reasonable for the price. The room has an unusual layout (enter in the bedroom, then walk through a kitchenette to a small "living room" with the view out toward the mud flats - another door opened to a deck/walkway through that living room). The kitchenette would have... More

Why walk up narrow creaky stairs and endure midnight trips to shared bathrooms when the Tradewinds offers comfort, convenience, wi-Fi, reliable hot water, a fully stocked kitchen, and a soaking tub for a better price? The Tradewinds is a fabulous place to stay at the beach and I will be back!

This place is awesome! The rooms are modern and comfortable, had a fireplace, a good stock of cookware and dishes, bathroom had a big deep tub, shower was tall, bed was comfortable. Staff was top notch! Very kind and very acomadating! We will definitely come back! The rates are reasonably too! You won't be sorry! The view of the ocean... More

I came for business and had an enjoyable stay. The whole suite has very nice appointments. There was a complete kitchen, thank goodness as I needed to be at work early and the nearest restaurant does not open till 8 if they open at all. The bed was comfortable as were the linens. Just a couple of more things to... More

We had out class reunion at Tradewinds on-the-Bay Motel this past weekend and it was fabulous. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely accommodating. Great views and having the event center on site was very convenient.

If you have any chemical sensitivity this is not the place for you. They use bleach to clean everything. We checked out early because of it. I realize this doesn't affect everyone. But, for those of us it does I felt I needed to give you fair warning. It is a shame because there are so many good green products... More

We accidentally found this place and were thrilled with the ground floor room plus living-room and kitchen. Everything seemed new and thoughtfully equipped. Step out the backdoor and sit in your own picknick area and enjoy peace and a beautiful view. But: Everything around closes at 8 pm, the next restaurant in the area only opens at 11.30 am and... The room was quaint, with the bed in a separate area from the sitting room. Everything was clean and the back yard area is great - very open. The ocean is actually a pretty far trek from the hotel, and it gets muddy, so I wouldn't expect an ocean view or a quick walk to the beach. The front-desk lady... More

So the wife, son and I spent the Memorial day weekend here. I was recommended this place by a friend. It was nice small suite style room that allowed pets. However the bed was Old and uncomfortable, the couch arm was loose, still able to use it just loose. It seemed like they were looking to nickel and dime you... More
