Stayed here to be closer to the fishing boat dock. That was a terrible mistake. When I checked in there was a dog running in and out of the kitchen that was directly behind the registration desk. They didnt run my credit card number but instead wrote it down in the reservation book. That definitely isn't a safe thing to... More

Driving by and found this lovely historic hotel... We love history so we stopped, the hotel was closed on this Tuesday so we read the history sign outside. Soon a lovely woman came out to the front porch and we started a conversation. She invited us in to look around and welcomed our small dog as well. The woodwork is... More

No customer service whatsoever!! Unfriendliness place I've ever stayed. Worst bed!!! Restaurant so-so. No "welcome" offered...No "good bye, hope you enjoyed your stay". A dog had full run in the kitchen. Grumpy owner grumbling at employees about Visa machine problems. No small coffee pot in room. No ice machine for guests. No blinds to close the window, felt very exposed!!... More

We have always wanted to go to this hotel. It is very old and each room is decorated with antique furniture and quilts…very quaint. The one drawback for some might be having to share bathrooms. As it was, our room was right across the hall from us…perfect! The weekend we were there was a holiday and the owners were taking... More

Sad to say we took my sister in law and her family there on Mother's day and got the worst service in history. We got in and told to sit in a corner, and obliged. It tookthirty minutes before the server to bring water with no menus. Then when asked it took her another 15 minutes to retrieve those. After... More

The Tokeland Hotel is run by a charming couple, Scott and Katherine. From the moment we arrived they helped us relax and enjoy the laid back environment of a hotel built in 1885. No TV or phones in the rooms and bathrooms are down the hall. They have WIFI if you must connect. The bathrooms are large, clean and the... More

I had a long weekend, and needed to get out of the city for a few days. I was looking for places on the coast, and found this place. I was not expecting much when driving out to this hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised! It is so lovely and quaint. The people who run the Inn are very welcoming,... More

As first time visitors, we weren't certain what to expect since the hotel is so old and out of the way. Driving into the parking lot, we were pretty sure we had made a good choice. One step into the foyer, we KNEW we had made the right choice. The relaxing atmosphere nearly bowled us backwards. :-) We will definitely... More

We love everything about this place. The location, the history, the unique flora and fauna, funky cool building, great owners (Scott and Cathryn) are like your favorite aunt and uncle. The floors creak, the bathroom is down the hall, the doors stick....these are just more things we love about it! Talk about character, this place has it. If you love... More
