The Lakewood Motor Inn is a bit out of the way, but this makes for a quiet stay. The rooms are a somewhat dated, but kept clean. TV reception is not fantastic on their cable. We stayed here to attend a wedding the next day. It's difficult to evaluate a hotel in this area, because the primary visitors are associated with Fort Lewis and McCord Air Base. Many of the adjacent businesses were feeling the effects of the military sent to the middle east. Even with this situation, the hotel was well occupied by travelers.... more

The room was very clean and very comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, especially when i arrived at 8AM after flying all night. Although check in wasn't till the afternoon the front desk found me a room. I definitlely will stay here again. more

I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it was horrible . They changed my rate on my to a higher rate at check out. The beds were rock hard and the people were rude . i swore i would never stay there again and tell everyone about how awful they were. BUT .... I did stay again... more

Great place if you only need a room for sleeping. No high speed internet access and dial up was virtually impossible at any speed. Overall it's a quiet place that's well kept and the staff is nice. more
