Our stay exceeded all our expectations! With their attentive customer service, various onsite amenities, and overall feel. Both my husband and I were so pleased to have had such an amazing night sleep! The beds are so comfortable. While in town taking in the Fleetwood Concert, the hotel was full with positive energy. Steps away from the complimentary community link,... More

It's nice to hear how much you enjoyed your stay in Tacoma. You would definitely enjoy the spa, one of the most beautiful ones in Puget Sound! Here's a tip for the holidays: check out our special between now and January 19, 2015, to get a $20 credit at The Bistro! We look forward to your next visit! More

The best thing about this Courtyard is the location. Close to restaurants, and attractions. Step out the back door and cross the street for a stroll across the Bridge of Glass, surprise gem! then on to the waterfront. The rooms are comfortable, with full kitchen. Good for business travel or with the family.

In addition to over 25 restaurants, cafes and diners, there are 5 museums within walking distance: Tacoma Art Museum, Museum of Glass, Washington State History Museum, Children's Museum and America's Car Museum! Each room has a microwave and a mini-refrigerator but not everyone would consider it a full kitchen since we don't have dishes or a separate sink. Thank you... More

I called the 800-number for the Marriot to schedule my reservation because I needed a government rate and didn't see it on the web site. The person on the telephone claimed that he didn't know how to do that or check into it. He however took my info and made my reservation. When I arrived at the hotel, they tried... More

Thank you for your comments. I'm sorry to hear there was confusion over the reservation process. The availability of rates should be the same whether you reserve online or on the phone. Marriott has a "Look No Further" policy so the best available rates are through Marriott.com. More

Checked in to this Courtyard for a one night stay in November. Not the cheapest rate ever but it was all made worthwhile by a great upgrade to a room with a Spa Bath, exceptional bed and friendly staff. I have stayed here before and it is still a quiet, convenient location. One downside - the local brewery was sold... More

Very clean, great amenities, staff was kind, courteous, and knowledgeable about the area. Walking distance to great restaurants. Try the Pacific Grill, great food and located just below the hotel. Will definitely stay again on my next visit. A big thanks to the Bistro staff, you all were a blast.

The first thing when we pulled up was there was NO room to park for check in. The pull in area is so small. We decided to valet park. No one offered to get our bags (we were staying 3 nights). I had to go inside, get a cart and load our own. Once we checked in, we took our... More

Thank you so much for staying with us. We're sorry for the difficulties you encountered with your reservation. Our lowest floor with rooms is floor 3, so I am guessing that whoever assigned your room thought one floor up would be acceptable. I know how frustrating it can be when a special request is not honored, and I'm truly sorry... More

The hotel was lovely, however when I called to change my reservation to add a night, they were difficult to work with and had a hard time updating my information. Was told they could update stuff and then they pushed me through to someone else who then couldn't help me and then was pushed to another person who didn't even... More

Having booked a King suite online and called ahead a few days in advance to ask about the possibility of early check-in, we were immensely surprised not only to be able to check in a little after noon, but to find that our suite was a corner room with a separate sitting room and huge bedroom. So much more pleasant... More

There is an award-winning, Northwest original restaurant called Pacific Grill located in the historic building attached to the hotel. Chef Gordon Naccarato was named one of Food & Wine Magazine's Top 10 Best New American Chefs. So if you crave a perfectly charred steak, crisp Caesar salad. local oysters from Hood Canal or seasonal farm-to-table specialities, it is a delicious... More

Travelling to Tacoma, with my wife and 3 adult children for my older son's return from deployment in Afghanistan, requested our rooms be together, so we could either walk directly across the hall or have our doors be together. We were assured this by front desk. Upon arriving we found this NOT to be as promised. The front desk was... More

Rude, condescending woman at front desk. Not accommodating at all. Promised rooms together and they were not. Asked for an hour early check in, said ok and when we arrived only 1 room ready . Nasty and inconsiderate.
