Newer hotel with all the amenities. Rooms are big and well appointed. Staff was very friendly. The elevators are slow and the bistro has a weird set up where you have to order first at the cashier and then you get your food and drink. Getting up every time you want a drink isn't ideal. Hire a server when you... More

Love, love, love this place! Booked a one bedroom king corner suite for 3 people and it did not disappoint! Beautifully decorated two room suite, huge bathroom, nice living area. Worked out well with having a fold out sofa bed, but be warned its only a twin size sleeper, perfect for one. Had a drink in the bar, great service... More

Not only is the one of the nicest Courtyards I've ever stayed in (only rivaled by one on San Diego), it's quite possibly the nicest hotel in Tacoma (granted, Tacoma is not known for its hotels). I would stay here over the Murano or Silvercloud. Pros: very modern, clean, great views, close to good restaurants and convention center, friendly staff,... More

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us! More night life is coming to the downtown area. Currently, there are night clubs and entertainment in the Proctor District which is just a short taxi ride away. We offer self-parking for a few dollars less than valet parking, but the personal service of the valet is worth the difference.... More

This hotel is in the heart of downtown Tacoma--perfect for visiting the museums, waterfront and events at the Tacoma Dome. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable--our king room had a nice little couch that was comfortable for two to sit on while watching TV or hanging out. The sound proofing is unbeatable--no traffic noise or noise from... More

Stayed here with frequent Marriott traveler husband over a weeknight trip in December. The only reason this is not 5***** is that the rooms are kind of small and the outside noise, even on the fifth floor is unavoidable. Nothing management can do about either! Rooms -- though a bit small, are really well appointed. Clean, our bed was super... More

Great stay, on business and never stayed here before. I stayed at the Marriott not to far from this hotel "Seattle Marriott" my mistake, this will be the hotel going forward and the rate is allot cheaper. All amenities were great, staff and room outstanding. Bistro stayed up late so i could eat late due to business. I will come... More

Thank you so much for your compliments about our staff and hotel. It's the little touches that make the difference. I'm glad to hear the Bistro staff stayed late to accommodate your schedule. We look forward to your return! More

I stayed here for a night and got a very good price. I was in town for a wedding and needed an early check-in time (10 a.m.) and a late check-out time, and the staff was so kind and accommodating. They did everything they could to help, and when I left my jacket in the closet after I checked out,... More

I'm guessing i was on the road side of the hotel, facing the water, but i ended up getting too much road noise. The hotel, like any Courtyard was nice enough. Trying to have a trendy lobby area and the staff was friendly and helpful. I'd stay again, maybe try to get a higher floor or the other side of... More

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Not only are the higher rooms quieter, they have a nice view of the city or the water. Our trendy new look is especially enjoyed by travelers wanting a place to relax or work other than their guest room. Even the couches have plug-ins for phones or laptops. More

I was here for a business meeting and was impressed by the grounds and the staff. There are several nice amenities here including a Starbucks, spa and fitness room. Went to a scrapbooking convention in Tacoma at the convention center. I hate driving in big cities so I always look for hotels that are close to where I'm going. This Courtyard is directly across the street from the convention center. You literally walk out the front door and cross the street and you're there. I had classes at night... More

It was delightful having the scrapbooking event in Tacoma. What a nice group of people! once measured the distance between the hotel and the Convention Center, and I think it's only about 20 steps. That's almost in our lobby! :-) More
