One of the nicer Courtyards I've ever stayed in. Beautiful lobby area. Spacious rooms that resemble condos more than hotel rooms. Friendly staff. Walking distance to a great restaurant/happy hour at Pacific Grill. The only downside (and it's very minimal!) is that you can't rent movies in your room.

Courtyard Tacoma downtown hotel although very modern and clean has the most inefficient personnel the industry could have. At arrival there was not "one" employee of the hotel entrance to take my car or my luggage. I waited, not to exaggerate, exactly 12 minutes before a valet showed up; by then I had already unloaded my car. The onsite restaurant... More

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I know how frustrating it can be when you've been in a car full of people and/or luggage and you can hardly wait to get settled, only to have to wait for someone to help you. I am very sorry. We work hard to train our staff to always be helpful and... More

From check in to check out, the service at the Courtyard was amazing. Every time I passed a staff member they asked how my day was going. Little things like this really helped me feel at home and welcome. Justin at the Front Desk in particular was very helpful. My reservation had me in the wrong room, but Justin was... More

Thank you for your nice comments, and especially for naming some of the staff who helped you. It is a real treat for them to get recognized individually. We appreciate you and your group staying with us! More

This was an awesome stay that was able to accommodate a family of four during our visit. We had two Queen Beds that were so soft after a long flight. The breakfast was plentiful and you received your $9.95 worth. We utilize the fitness center on the first floor. During our stay we seen others utilizing the swimming pool and... More

Another upgrade added during our recent remodel was lap top/phone plug-ins in the furniture in the lobby and Bistro areas. Now you can work or play just about anywhere in the hotel. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you! More

Ask for a Mt. Rainier facing room. Very nice and clean hotel. Conveniently located in a nice area and within walking distance of great restaurants and a museum. Only complaint is that I visited this hotel in April and they provided free breakfast for all guests and when I returned in December that feature was gone.

I love that view, too! Another great view is at the South end of the hotel overlooking the downtown area. But, to me, the perfect view is from the King Suites (which cost just a little more than regular rooms) and you can see the mountain, the harbor and downtown. The higher the floor, the better the view. Thank you! More

Good hotel. Location is great!! Walking distance to plenty of restaurants and very easy access to the Interstate. No problems with my stay and the staff was very helpful with any questions that I had.

Thank you! One of my favorite amenities is the "Go Board" that you can use to find businesses, restaurants, and more. It is interactive and you can print directions to take with you. More

The Courtyard is a nice hotel in Tacoma near the financial district and the college. The rooms are nice and for the small upcharge, valet parking is worth it. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, easy access to the freeway and the light rail, and a variety of museums and such to check out.

Thank you for your nice comments! Manager's Tip: If you are traveling alone and want a larger room, you could request a room with two queen beds. The double-queens are the same price as the kings, but many of them are bigger. More

I have stayed here four times in the last year and after our recent stay, will not return. We checked in at 8:00 p.m and as it was my ten year old daughter and I, used the valet services for which we waited over 20 minutes. Once we were inside, the man at the front desk was less than attentive... More

I'm so sorry things didn't go well on your last visit. Fire alarms are serious business. For your safety, there is an an exit plan on every guest room door, as well as by the elevators and stairwells. The plans request guests to exit the building and gather outside, where we can communicate the next plan of action or inform... More

The property itself is beautiful, I love the staircase in the lobby. However, we stayed here a few years ago and they had complimentary coffee 24hours a day, but this time they have switched over to having a "Bistro" where you have to purchase Starbucks coffee and it is only available for a few hours a day. Otherwise you are... More

Our stay exceeded all our expectations! With their attentive customer service, various onsite amenities, and overall feel. Both my husband and I were so pleased to have had such an amazing night sleep! The beds are so comfortable. While in town taking in the Fleetwood Concert, the hotel was full with positive energy. Steps away from the complimentary community link,... More

It's nice to hear how much you enjoyed your stay in Tacoma. You would definitely enjoy the spa, one of the most beautiful ones in Puget Sound! Here's a tip for the holidays: check out our special between now and January 19, 2015, to get a $20 credit at The Bistro! We look forward to your next visit! More
