We stayed two nights at the Courtyard while in town for the Tacoma Marathon. Great location for visiting the Art Museum, Museum of Glass, etc. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful, even thought the hotel was full from teen dance competition convention. Hotel has a small pool and workout facility. Wifi signal was strong, a nice feature. Valet parking... More

We are glad you enjoyed your visit! In addition to walking downtown, you can ride the Tacoma Link light rail from the hotel to the University of Washington-Tacoma campus, then cross over the Chihuly Bridge of Glass to get to the Museum of Glass and Hot Shop. The bridge has display cases with fantastic glass-blown vases as well as a... More

We've been here more than once. Nice location in downtown Tacoma by the convention center. Newly redone lobby. Rooms are fine. We had a room on the 6th floor with a beautiful view of Mt Hood. Staff is friendly. Pacific Grill in downstairs of hotel building is a great restaurant. We'd stay here again.

It's just awe-inspiring when Mt. Rainier comes out. We should have great views of the mountain most days from now through October since our rainy season is wrapping up. Thank you for staying! More

Nice place to stay when in downtown Tacoma. We had a nice, quiet room on an upper floor. Never waited very long for an elevator. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Close to food and the eclectic downtown shopping and museums. Would definitely stay here again.

We're glad you enjoyed your visit. I like your description of "eclectic shops and museums" in the area because there really is a wide range of things to do and places to go. The Museum of Glass offers the latest in modern art and design, whereas the WA History Museum or America's Car Museum takes you back in time to... More

We have rates for government employees/active military as well as for government contractors. Both rates offer significant savings on our regular corporate rates. Stayed here once before. Great location, easy check-in, friendly staff. Within walking distance of the Museum of Glass, Washington State History Museum and U of W Tacoma Campus. Lots of restaurants nearby. Room was in good shape and very clean. Likewise the bathroom. Plenty of space to spread out. Big high def TV with all the channels. Free wi-fi. Only... More

We had multiple rooms reserved for a family event and the people at the Downtown Tacoma Courtyard could not have been more helpful. (Well, I guess they could have been more helpful but then they'd have to be given superhero status!). Easy checkin and checkout, helpful staff, custodial staff said good morning, etc. when we saw them in the hall.... More

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and typically stay here a couple of times a year while visiting our son at the University of Puget Sound. The good: The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable. We've had a room by the elevator a couple of times and, surprisingly, it has been very quiet. The rooms are not fancy,... More

We stayed at the Courtyard Tacoma for a 4 day trip with our two teenaged daughters. The location is terrific, right in Museum row, walking distance to the excellent Glass Museum and Pacific Grill, both highlights for any trip to Tacoma. The rooms were nice, clean, linens where crisp and staff was generally great. If you're the kind of person... More

One of the nicer Courtyards I've ever stayed in. Beautiful lobby area. Spacious rooms that resemble condos more than hotel rooms. Friendly staff. Walking distance to a great restaurant/happy hour at Pacific Grill. The only downside (and it's very minimal!) is that you can't rent movies in your room.

Courtyard Tacoma downtown hotel although very modern and clean has the most inefficient personnel the industry could have. At arrival there was not "one" employee of the hotel entrance to take my car or my luggage. I waited, not to exaggerate, exactly 12 minutes before a valet showed up; by then I had already unloaded my car. The onsite restaurant... More

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I know how frustrating it can be when you've been in a car full of people and/or luggage and you can hardly wait to get settled, only to have to wait for someone to help you. I am very sorry. We work hard to train our staff to always be helpful and... More
