My stay in Tacoma was exceptionally good because of my room at the Murano. I have traveled for business quite a lot, and this hotel was an unexpected pleasure. Modern, yet elegant and sophisticated. An IPOD docking station was in the clock radio - very convenient! more

Hotel Murano is a beautiful hotel in Downtown Tacoma. The glass art work is remarkable throughout the hotel. The staff from the entrance to the front desk to the in-hotel restaurant was fantastic and my meal there was very good too. Easy walk to most of downtown, light rail and other attractions. more

I was impressed when I walked in the door of the lobby, not to mention the room! The hotel is nicely decorated with lots of modern art and has very friendly people available to help you with anything you need. There is a very nice robe in the bathroom and the bed is dreamy! I'll be staying there every time... more

We live in Seattle and decided to stay @ the Murano because of its proximity to some family functions. The hotel is wonderful. The lobby is super-impressive with beautiful glass and art displays. The room was very nice with modern colors, updated bedding and a fairly spacious bathroom. We really loved the glass top vanity. We were on floor 7--dubbed... more

I was pleasantly surprised at the uniqueness of the Hotel Murano. I felt like I was in a different hotel world with all the art and interesting design. The restaurant, Bite, had a very good menu, and the food was VERY tasty. Service in all areas was excellent. The one disappointment is that you need a VPN card to use... more

This hotel was a complete surprise. We stopped in Tacoma after reading about the glass museum which is nearby to the Murano. Little did we know that on every floor of this hotel is a museum quality display of famous glass artists. The interior design of the hotel is outstanding. The rooms comfortable and the staff excellent. A surprise gem... more

My husband and I were in Tacoma for a wedding and stayed at the Hotel Murano. The staff was wonderful; very helpful and friendly. The rooms were beautiful and luxerously comfortable. The location is great - walking distance to all of the museums. Just a quick 5 minute drive to the water front area loaded with great restaurants to try.... more

Great experience! Best in the area. We travel often to Seattle/Tacoma and often stay at this location because of the timely, friendly service and the exceptional rooms. I've never had a problem during my +4 trips at Murano. Give it a shot and have a great experience! more

The Hotel Murano is a classy hotel that has been decorated in a mid century modern theme remenicent of the brat pack era of the '50s and 60's. See Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, AZ, www.hotelvalleyho.com, for a similar hotel. The Hotel Murano has added peculiar art from a variety of artist all over the hotel. Purchased the Eat Sleep... more

from the first call for reservations until the valet brought our car around and loaded our bags I felt appreciated as a customer. I think management has done a great job in building positive attitudes of service among all employees. more
