Stayed at the hotel Murano for a week. Very nice and clean rooms. Excellent cleaning service, prompt, efficient and consistent (shampoos and soaps are always replenished). Highly recommend this hotel if you are in the Tacoma area.

Kevin. Thank you for the great feedback. We do have a fabulous and dedicated housekeeping team led by their awesome manager, Barbara, who work very hard to keep things looking great. It is always a pleasure to have them called out by someone who has experienced their work, and I truly will enjoy sharing your kindness with them. I do... More

Admittedly, I was a bit concerned when I saw the recent reviews, but Mr Urologist's brother was getting married in Tacoma, and, well, the options are limited. Wow, was I wrong. Everyone who works here, from the valets to the front desk, is lovely. The room was clean and large. The bed was comfortable and, although we were right next... More

This was a good base for a golfing break. The room initially allotted to us was fine except for being adjacent to the lifts which meant we got the accompanying sounds. This was changed without any problem and our next room was also a good size, clean and modern with a view of Mount Rainier when the clouds permitted. We... More

I stayed ya the Murano weekly for a year for business. I absolutely loved my stays. The staff is absolutely awesome and accommodating. The rooms are nice and comfortable. There is glass art displayed on each floor featuring a different artist. The lobby is gorgeous. The food is delicious. Room service has fantastic service, the the prices are overboard. I... More

This was our second stay here. My last review for our stay Nov. 2012, was not as good due to issues my wife had at the Spa. No Spa visit this time. The Murano is such a beautiful hotel. Glass art throughout the place. Each floor features a different artist. The Lobby is gorgeous! The rooms are modern and plenty... More

Thank you for your feedback and kind remarks regarding your experience in our Lobby Bar. I had heard all about your "celebrity" rescue Pup being in-house and am sorry that I did not have the opportunity to meet him. My wife and I have actually rescued and found homes for many feral cats over the years and it is always... More

I was really looking forward to my stay at the Murano after talking to friends, but it just didn't ring my bells at all. It's clearly a remodel of an older hotel and the boxy room had a cookie cutter feel from the start that cool art could not disguise. I hated the grey walls in rainy Sea-Tac, the depressing... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and impressions with us relative to your recent visit. While I am happy that you left with a few positive impressions of the staff at BITE, and our Bell Staff from your visit, I am quite disappointed in all of the service, amenities, and facilities related concerns that you have... Very clean. King bed was comfortable. Work function serving staff was friendly and attentive. Staff in lobby bar also. Room service in 20 minutes. Offers valet or self parking. Self parking spots narrow for SUV. Key to mini bar optional. Would stay again if in area.

Thanks for the succinct and positive feedback. I do agree that some of our parking slips are designed for smaller vehicles, but, we typically have plenty of larger slips available amongst our three parking lots to accommodate most vehicles. Please do join us again sometime. Stan Kott, General Manager More

After a summer of US road trips and many chain motels, it was a treat to spend a night on our way to Vancouver at The Murano Hotel in Tacoma. Thanks to Tacoma native Dale Chihuly who spearheaded the 20th century glass renaissance, the area has become a world center for glass artists. The Museum of Glass and adjoining bridge... More

I was on a project in Tacoma for 16 weeks and even though I am a Starwood member, I stayed at The Murano every single week. The staff is more than accommodating to any and every request and make you feel like you have a home away from home. The rooms are extremely comfortable and they make 'going green' extremely... More

Thank you for the wonderful feedback. We could not hope for any higher praise than being thought of as a "home away from home". We have the privilege of serving many business travelers such as yourself, often for extended periods of time, and our staff really tries to project and provide services to create what you have so kindly described... I loved the view of Mt Ranier from my gorgeous 23rd floor room. Even though I was on business, I felt as though I was on a luxury holiday at a modern European hotel. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished, with lovely art accents. I took photos of the bathroom to refer to when I remodel mine at home.... More
