This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at; the professionalism and courtesy of all staff that I encountered was outstanding. The investment in fittings and decor - matching the theme of the nearby glass museum - made my visit (with a few hundred colleagues!) a stay to remember. Thank you once again. Tacoma is a nice... more

A one night stay was not nearly enough time to enjoy Hotel Murano! It is a museum of glass in and of itself - simply stunning. We loved the comfort and the convenience to the Foss Waterway museums via the Dale Chilhuly Footbridge. The light rail is one block from the hotel and a free ride to the footbridge at... more

Beautiful room. Nice view. Comfy beds and you can choose many different types of pillows! Excellent breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Our room key wouldn't work in the elevators for the floors above where we were staying, and we wanted to see all the art, so the front desk clerk gave us a special key and a guidebook to all... more

We were absolutely amazed at this place. It's beautiful, all the amenities, truly great food (try the 11-layer fudge chocolate cake, OMG!), great service from every staff member, extremely comfortable beds, the AC was as quiet as could be, and we got a king-bed room for $118 before taxes. It's a 10-minute walk to the Glass Museum, which is amazing... more

I live nearby ,but, needed to stay in town. The Murano was previously a rather tired Sheraton. The new look is upscale and modern. Security seems good. There are Museums within walking distance. The area is undergoing a re-invention of itself. There is limited restaurants and little shopping within walking distance. There is transportation to the Tacoma Dome. The rooms... more

We stayed at the Hotel Murano on our wedding night. We also recommended our out of town guests stay there. Everyone was incredibly happy. The staff was very accommodating and didn't know how to say no. They took incredible care of our guests and us while we were staying there. We will be back hopefully many times. more

My spouse and other family members traveled to the Tacoma area to visit a family member who's in the Army at Ft. Lewis and who's getting ready to deploy for a second tour of duty to Iraq. We stayed at Hotel Murano for 4 nights and were very pleased with the hotel. The hotel itself was very clean, modern, and... more

The hotel is an art exhibit, in and of itself. There are numerous pieces on display through out the hotel, I found something new everday. The prices were reasonable and the views from the higher floors were spectacular, luckly I was on one of those floors. The hotel staff were very nice, professonal, and helpful. The rooms are nice, a... more
