Here's the scoop. Our family was at peaceful (fabulous) Holden Village on Lake Chelan for a week (see holdenvillage.org). It was our 12th time there. We did not want to be subjected to "dominant consumer culture shock" immediately upon leaving, so decided to try a quiet motel in a smaller place. The reviews for Dutch Cup were pretty positive, so... More

This is a older motel, it was clean, comfortable, we had a good night's rest. I would not hesitate to stay again. It is not a 5 star situation. But we felt safe and have no complains. We picked up dinner at the Sultan Bakery and ate it in the motel. Lots of yummy pastries there!

This place had a bit of a smell like at your grandmothers house or something was not able to connect to the Wi-Fi that was annoying they're very eco-conscious some the stuff needed a bit of updating but I mean like they had a keruig in the room and unique candy

The ladies who work here really make this a nice place to stay. The rooms are spotless, Keurig coffee pot, wing back upholstered chair, good WiFi & TV, ear plugs provided because of train, big thick soft towels, recently renovated bath. Bakery down the street has the best meals you'll find for many miles around. Lumberjack portions. I highly recommend... More

I wasn't expecting much and I didn't get more than I expected. I had a clean bed and bath. The rooms were quiet unless a train went by and were adequately stocked. I was pleased that the room had an instant coffee maker (which was a first for me in my travels)... yet the television was good 80's. The heater/AC... More

The Dutch Cup is dog friendly and worked with me weekly as I didn't know how long i'd be staying. They made sure I got the best rate possible. The room was clean (beds are hard as rocks and old as the hills). But the Internet service worked well as did cable TV. The thing that impressed me the most was... More

Clean and adequate. Friendly and helpful clerk. Problem with the electricity or fuses, because laptops/cellphone charger kept cutting out. Expected larger historic downtown, but be forewarned: Sultan is tiny, and the "historic area" is about a block. Nice river, though. Dutch Cup could not help that the club next door had its grand opening the night we stayed. Noise and... More

Motorcycling down the road and kind of looking for a place to stay we seen a vacancy sign on the Dutch Cup Motel so we pulled in and checked it out. The desk person was kind, friendly, and helpful and quickly checked us in to a room. We found the room to be quite adequate and the whole place was... More

The room was large and the beds were comfy but there was a strange smell. The hair dryer didn't work and it seemed like the other guests were constantly on the move, all through the night cars were coming and going. The rail road was close by and trains were constantly blowing their horns. I counted 25 whistle blasts from... More

I've stayed here a few times. It's very clean and the staff is very nice. The mattresses were very hard, other than that all was good... oh... except the loud sheep and chainsaw noises coming from upstairs (I think).
