Huge and beautiful resort located in the woods just off the highway. There aren't many places to stay in Stevenson, Washington, but this it the place to stay. Rooms are large, spacious and mine had a view into the wilderness. Lots of amenities in my room, towels were fluffy and I had four. The place was quiet even though a... More

My other visits here have been during summer or mid week and were very relaxing. This visit was a downer. The gorgeous lobby was packed every time I wanted to enjoy it, chairs on the relaxing lawn were always occupied, lots of echoing noise in the hall. At least we had a room with a river view. One other thing... More

The view from our river facing room was spectacular. The beds are not comfortable, the pillows flat. The food in the both the cafe and restaurant is over-priced. The pool and both the indoor and outdoor hot tubs are lovely. The setting is charming, the staff courteous.

Always wanted to stay here and try their amenities. The price was right this spring of 2015, so my friend and I spent 3 nights here. It is a very large place with lots to do if you are into that...I went more for scenery and spa thing. Prices are way too high for the spa vacilities but that is... More

It was great to be so close to our favorite hiking trails. We normally drive approx and hour from Portland area to go on hikes. It was great to dry 5 minutes --hike--and drive 5 minutes back to our room and sit by the fire. Food high priced and lodging fees high.

The location is beautiful, the front staff very helpful and courteous and the fireplace room is a great place to relax and enjoy the view. The rest of the stay was less than what one should expect. The room was ok but nothing special. The food in the dining room was not close to being worth the prices. The only... More

Nice lodge, comfortable rooms. Ask for a room facing the River. Food overpriced and not so great, especially considering the price .thereis, however, no other dining facility closeby except the bar but i didn't eat there. Nice pool , outdoor hottub and fitness area. Close to hiking trails. Beautiful setting and view. Comfortable loby with fireplace going.

In 25 years we have stayed from dives to the nicest resorts and had fun all the way. But the Skamania Lodge, had I known about it sooner, we would have changed half those trips to go here. Check in was fast and smooth, every staff member was wonderful to us. The room was large, very large and on the... More

I love this resort and try to visit once a year. The drive there is beautiful. As you enter the lodge, you are greeted by friendly staff and a roaring fire in a tall rock wood burning fireplace. In the living area you have comfortable places to sit and relax, play games, or visit with the people you travel with.... More

The 20.00 a day tacked on as a resort fee for use of the trails, coffee in the lobby and a paper seemed a bit much. On the plus side, . The fire pit to roast s'mores was very fun, the outdoor grotto hot tub was fabulous and the service was excellent. The front desk lady was so accommodating and... More

Thank you for the nice review. And for awarding us the good fortune of serving you and your guest. Our fireplaces are 3 stories tall and weigh more than 500,000 lbs. The stones used to construct our fireplaces were taken from dry, local creek beds. We hope to have the good fortune of welcoming you back many more times in... More
