I have previously been to Skamania for conferences but this was my first time staying as a leisure visit. My sister and I spent an overnight here in midweek. We arrived early enough for lunch, had the Waterleaf Pamper Spa package, and went to dinner afterwards. The next morning we used the indoor pool and jacuzzi and hiked the 1.75... More

It has been about 16 years since I last stayed at Skamania Lodge. I planned a three day reunion of sorts with two longtime friends. It is still as beautiful and peaceful as ever. A perfect spot on the Columbia River, quiet nights, lots to do in spite of inclement weather. We enjoyed the pool and various jacuzzis (indoors and out).... More

Recently, my wife and I had a couple of days to get out of town and enjoy some time together. Living in Portland, OR, we thought a quick trip through the Columbia River Gorge would be a good call...Skamania Lodge! What a lovely facility.....we enjoyed our great river view room, the cozy lodge atmosphere, and the amazing hiking trails found... More

We have been visiting Skamania Lodge Resort for nearly 20 years....and it remains my very favorite place to relax and recharge. The grounds are kept up beautifully, the golf course is handy, the trails are well laid out and easy to enjoy. We especially enjoy the huge stone fireplace in the lobby, a perfect place to enjoy a cup of... More

I had been wanting to go to this lodge for years, and it did not disappoint. There is a lot to do at the hotel and in the area, so I will definltely have to plan a longer stay next time. One thing we were not aware of is that they have zip lining there now. I wish I had... More

I had the most amazing two day stay at this beautiful property! Front desk was extremely friendly and answered all of our questions! He made us feel welcome, we were also given chocolate covered strawberries to celebrate our honeymoon! The staff at this property are so lovely and accommodating, room service was quick and housekeeping paid close attention to detail!... More

We used the Skamania Lodge as stopping point in going from the Oregon Coast to Eastern Washington State. The Skamania Lodge is nice property with well appointed rooms in a lodge-like atmosphere (it feels like a high-end national park hotel but is privately owned). The side of the hotel overlooking the Columbia Gorge have superb views. The top end restaurant... More

This place is lovely. It is incredibly quiet and a wonderful setting. I had never stayed here before, so I was very much looking forward to my two nights. The room was spacious and comfy. I was glad to have a refrigerator in the room, as I had to pack a lunch each day. The bar is nice, but be... More

It's beautiful country here and the lodge is set up to enjoy the outdoors, but the interior is run down and rooms look like they are in need of updating. For the amount of money it costs to stay here it seems the rooms should be in excellent condition. The food in the restaurant is ok if you are really... More
