We stayed overnight at the Riverside Lodge on a Saturday night in October--off season, right?--but we were lucky to get a room, because it was booked solid. The reasons this place sells out are many: themed rooms in 100% for real log cabins, some with decks and shared or private hot tubs, and most with an astonishing river view. In... More

We chose this lovely setting via tripadvisor.com reviews, so I'd like to share one of my own. The log cabins sit right along the Columbia. They are efficiency rooms and quite comfortable with adequate seating area, a kitchen table, and a comfortable bed with nice sheets and towels. They should have added about 6" to the bathroom to accommodate long-legged... More

We stayed one night - 9/15 and had a great experience for the two of us. We were in the Dreamcatcher. when we pulled into the parking lot Angus met us and showed us to our room - a simple and friendly welcome and great to not have to go to the office to "check in" etc. check out was... More

My boyfriend booked this stay for us a couple months ago. I was super excited to go out of town and get away. I made the mistake of looking at reviews on here and scared myself into thinking this stay would be horrible- but it was anything but! We stayed in the Northwest Passage room for one night and let... The place is nice from the outside but outdated inside no air conditioning so on hot days it's very hot inside the cabins the trains run on both sides of the river day and night blowing their horns very loud. View from the deck is great. Manager very nice and helpful

We stayed in one of the cabins facing the river. The cabin was very clean and cute. It had a small sitting area and a kitchen. It was located just off the Main Street within walking distance of anything we needed. There were ear plugs on the night stand and we definitely made use of them. A loud freight train... More

After a long, long drive we drove onto the property at Riverside and were entranced - this place could offer us the rest and rejuvenation we needed. The flower beds and other landscaping were aesthetically pleasing and immaculate. Our cabin (Northwest) was cozy and comfortable. This small resort was built about 15 years ago with the buildings meant to harken... More

Was considering having a family gathering at this establishment after a small wedding ceremony down the road a bit. Called and spoke to Angus, who passed himself off as the owner. Let me tell you that this man was one of the most rude and pompous "people" I have ever spoken to. Not only could I not get a word... More
