We've been here about 4 times. The park is really clean and the facilities are modern but the showers cost about $1.25 - $1.50 per shower. They seem to charger for every extra thing and there is really nothing close-by to see or do. Nearest town is Stevenson and or Hood River via a toll bridge. They say they have... More

We were quite impressed with this campground; clean, quiet, etc. until we went to shower. No warning that tokens were required until we were already in the shower! They didn't mention it upon checkin and it completely changed our feel-good attitude. Not only is it inconvenient to have to get tokens but if I'm paying $40 for a campsite I... More

My husband and I stayed at Timberlake for 5 days in August. This is absolutely the cleanest campground we have ever stayed at. The restrooms and showers were immaculate! And as we walked through the campground, we noticed how clean and well-maintained each area was. Bill and Carol, the campground hosts, were extremely friendly and helpful. Bill took us to... More

We had cancelled our reservation at Cascade Locks KOA due to reviews regarding train activity. We were a bit concerned with our drive to the campground. It seems like you will never get there but KEEP GOING. It is worth the drive for the peace and quiet. Friendly owners and nice facilities.

We recently completed a 10 day family trip and this resort was our favorite stop. We stayed here on Tuesday July 15th. Although we were only there one night, everything about this park was excellent! From getting reservations on the website, good directions, friendly and helpful front desk, clean showers and restroom facilities, to the beautiful grounds. We selected the... More

We stayed here recently on a weekend get-a-way. I knew I wanted to camp but I was not sure where and while looking it seemed that most campsites in the area were very close to railroad tracks and had reviews to prove it. I finally settled on Timberlake but was a little wary because we do not have an RV,... More

Stayed for 2 nights in June 2013 in a travel trailer. We were touring the NW and wanted a place to stay while enjoying the Columbia River area. We read numerous complaints about the train noise at several different campgrounds, and - using Trip Advisor - settled on Timberlake as our destination. The campground is very lush and thick woods.... More

Seems like wherever we go, we end up being next to a RR track and get woke up by the trains. This place is so quiet and peaceful, it's a great place to get a nice rest. The grounds are also beautiful and well layed out so you don't feel cramed in with everyone else. Stayed here last summer and... More

Visited this campground late in Feb. 2013. Even though it was a nice weekend not a lot of campers present. We had spot 22 a nice location and it was quiet and peaceful. The showers were great, cost $.50 for a 3 minute shower, so bring your quarters. A little bit off the beaten path but its what we were... More

This campground really knows how to nickel and dime you. Not only is the site rate over priced, they charge per person on top of the original rate, they charge for a towed car and the charge that is still making me see red is they have the nerve to charge to use the showers. Last I checked showers were... More
