This is a clean but fairly spartan motel offering good-sized rooms and, frankly, good value for the money. Having said that, however, we could offer two caveats: One is that the advertized "breakfast" is a euphemism for white bread, grape or strawberry jelly in little packets, cello-wrapped bagels or gooey buns, an airpot of coffee and a jug of that... more

I had a conference at the nearby Skamania Lodge but the lodge "special rates" ran about $160 a night for the cheapest room. I chose to stay at this Econolodge two miles down the road for $100 less. Really the only game in town if you are on a budget. We reserved a bank of rooms for a family function--ten in all. The motel is very neat and clean, and the management is friendly and helpful.
