Within walking distance of Gonzaga University. Phyllis is very accommodating and gracious. Delicious breakfast. Only caveat is that East Indiana Street is a busy and noisy arterial. Not much of a problem in the wee hours, but if you retire early, it could be an issue. In which case specify a room off the street.

I was visiting my son and had just a couple of more days to spend in the Spokane area. I decided to stay with Phyllis and see if I could glean ideas for our own bnb back home. I told Phyllis that I would be there some time after dinner. I later decided that I would like to find the... More

The thoughtful hostess takes great in meeting the needs of her guests. Everything was well thought out (bath robes, hair dryer, umbrellas, tea anytime) and clean, and the breakfasts were straight out of Gourmet magazine, though she also accommodates those who want oatmeal and dry toast. The bed was soft and comfortable. It is an easy walk to Gonzaga University... More

Cozy, warm and unique, you don't want to miss out on this spectacular BnB! Breakfast was delicious, only exceeded by the kidness of the innkeeper! Super clean and convienient, with close priximity to Gonzaga University.

Lovely home, Phyllis is a treasure. It was just a one night stop, but Phyllis went out of her way to make sure we made the most of our stay. The breakfast was great...best scrambled eggs ever. Just have to mention the bed in the Roses room...the most comfortable we've ever slept in, in all the years we've been staying... More

We booked this B & B the day of and Phyllis was very accommodating and was able to book us in right away. The house is easy to find and there is on site parking. When we walked up to the house Phyllis was there to greet us. She instantly made us feel welcome and had coffee, tea and cookies... More

We spent one night at this B and B and that was enough. Our room did not have a private bathroom so we were forced to walk down the hall for the necessaries. Luckily we were the only guests so while it was inconvenient we did not have to share with others. It was a hot day and we had... More

When reserving a room at our B&B we always make it clear that we have 2 rooms with private baths and 2 rooms that share a bath. This was the hottest July and August on record and the window air conditioners we have are more than adequate to cool down each guest room to the guests individual liking. As a... More

For approximately the same cost, how nice it was to be able to stay in a stately mansion rather than in a sterile hotel room. Climb the stairs up to the second floor to the quintessential bedroom complete with two windows with lace panel curtains, an original large walk-in closet with guest robes, the bed, a small couch, vanity, A/C,... The breakfasts were fabulous, and the innkeeper was so helpful. Every day she gave me great directions to where I had to go. What a wonderful alternative to impersonal hotels! I'll definitely be back - her breakfasts were heavenly with home baked treats every morning. It's like you're staying at your favorite aunt's house!

We loved our stay. The room was comfortable and cute. The best scrambled eggs for breakfast and our gluten free request was honored with different bread. Large porch with plenty of seating. Great books to read. We asked for a map so that we could ride our bikes and Phyllis was soooo helpful. We could even leave our car in... More
