Our reservation for the Ridpath Hotel in downtown Spokane Washington was for June 13-16, 2008. My wife was attending a weekend convention nearby. I had already heard that the hotel's guest elevators had not been working since at least January 2008. I thought maybe they might be fixed by now, but it would still be OK if we had to... more

I bought a plane / hotel combo package on Orbitz for one night stay at the Ridpath. I was told at check in that my credit card would not be charged because I paid Orbitz directly but they needed it for incidentals. Then I got my credit card bill to find that they charged me $100. I have been trying... more

First of all, when arriving to the Ridpath the parking garage had a large sign stating that is was full and to not enter, there was no valet out front. My husband and I drove around town for a half hour trying to find a parking space and never found one, we then parked in a no parking zone to... more

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Ridpath Spokane. The front desk staff were rude and uncaring except for the guy who works the night shift. (he was great and very helpful!!) Our first night there our shower did not work, that was not fixed until the next day. Then after that was fixed the bathtub dripped LOUDLY.... more

We stayed here because our business mtg was held in their conference room. First thing I want to say is that you cannot believe the pictures they have of their hotel. Very disceiving. The room was much smaller than expected. You can tell the building is very old (ie. plumbing, windows, elevator, uneven floors, etc.). The room had been recently... more

I stayed at the Ridpath for four nights on business. The good thing was the mattress was firm. That was the only good thing. My bathroom sink was permanently stained yellow. My coffeemaker was broken and missing the carafe. The first night I dropped the remote control and went searching for it. I found it under the bed skirt, along... more

Our stay at the Ridpath Hotel was not a good one. Our room was dark and dingy. The blanket on the bed had a dirty substance on it that was dry and crusted over. Customer service was very slow and the employees were not very helpful. Would not stay at the RIdpath again. It is not worth the money. We... more

(So that you may better evaluate the validity of this review, I've been a fairly frequent traveler for both business and vacation purposes, and have stayed at a large number of hotels/motels over the past thirty years. My main criteria for judging a hotel is simple: being able to have a comfortable night's sleep with a minimum of irritations. )... more
