We stayed there few days and were charged $1,500 for buying some small items like a fire starter and ice cream. Never give them your credit card. They didn't have the advertised facilities - no fitness center, no WiFi Internet. The renovated showers and restrooms were full of flies, a puny shared sauna was always full. There is nothing to... I am sincerely sorry about the mess up with the credit card charge. Our merchant services system made an error and processed $1500 vs $15.00, missing the decimal point. It was in no way intentional on our part. As soon as we were aware of the mistake we immediately refunded your credit card to fix the error. We pride ourselves... More

Ignore any reviews before July 2014. The new owners are working very hard to bring up the quality of the camping experience at this charming park. The pool is spectacular. The beautiful green lawns run full length before the sand along the beach. Improvements are happening every day. The stone patio, when finished, will be a beautiful additional to the... More

I just arrived today for the first time this year. The new owners are doing amazing things to improve the amenities. It is in the process of becoming a great facility, yet retaining it's friendly homey atmosphere. Improvements like lounge chairs by the pool with thick cushions really make the place feel classy. I will definitely be back next summer.... More

With the new owners doing alot of work and replacement this place has changed alot. A couple of new cabins that are beautiful. Brand new playset for the kids that is huge and will keep kids busy for hours and hours. Sand has been added to the beach area. The overall cleanliness has improve so much. The large grassy area... I will never return here again, I had been here before about four years ago and it was a great experience but aparently they have changed owners and boy am I sorry that I had to pay these people for two camp sites over a three day period of misery. To start off They were very racist! in all forms,shapes... More

We recently purchased the resort. The old staff and management are no longer running the resort. We have professional resort management and a hospitality staff that cares strongly about our guests experiences. Our reservation policies and park rules are clearly spelled out on our website and explained by our reservation staff at check-in. We do have a wristband system, which... More

We booked Soap Lake RV per a friends suggestion. Our friends had been to the camp 5 years ago when it was a private membership camp. Well things have changed. We checked in and had asked for a site in row G away from the kids areas since it was just my self and my husband. We ended up in... More

The "cabins" are actually just RVs and not really worth the price but they are really nice. The pool was nice and the owners were pretty awesome. Overall a great laid back place to stay.

My wife and spent several wonderful days at the resort. Many of the things I saw in earlier negative submissions was not an issue at all, the staff was wonderful. They just completed brand new deck and hot tub, bathrooms were very clean and the park was on its way to full bloom. Close enough to town for shopping, and... More

Stayed here in June and came back in August. Friendly staff. Girl at desk was not too welcoming but was helpful none the less. Friendly Ron will bother you at some time with a sales pitch to some resort membership. But he will let you alone if you decline. Many families with small children, all having great fun and not... We arrived there on Wed afternoon. As soon as I saw it was located beside the main highway with very small campsites and no buffer zones between the sites, I thought this would not be a good combination. The first night we had a rough wind storm (about 50 km/hour winds) and were able to finally go to bed after... More
