We were really looking forward to our one night stay. The lodge is as advertised, very nicely appointed and luxurious. The bathroom vanity had limited space, but the biggest issue was that our stay was not restful at all. After we had settled in for the night, we noticed a loud "clink". We were not sure where the sound came... More

My husband and I stayed at the Salish without any prior visits for our 15th anniversary. The staff notified us of the construction prior to our booking. It was a little tough at times because we had stayed for several days but, we were again, sufficiently notified. The beds and linen are super-comfy (I wish I knew where they bought... More

My wife and I spent a three day weekend at Salish Lodge over Labor Day. The rooms were really nice and clean, faced the falls, and very romantic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived I was worried that the wedding happening that day and the next would be noisy. That was not the case. Our room... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent stay. I am glad to see that you had an "Awesome Getaway"; it was truly our pleasure to provide this experience. It is wonderful to hear that you took in all of the tranquilities that our lodge has to offer; especially the wood burning fire place in your room. This... More

Very disappointing. The desk clerks were on the rude side as was one dining room hostess. Menu the same regardless of whether you eat in the dining room or "attic" bar or day of the week or lunch vs dinner. Menu over priced. Wait staff needs to be trained. Rooms very clean but cramped. The maid staff does an outstanding... More

Being locals, and celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary during mid-week, I thought it would be a nice getaway to spend time at the Salish Lodge. I booked a standard (I believe they call it a deluxe) room, "non-river view". The reason I went with the non-view room was because I was made aware of "some" construction equipment across the river... More

Stayed for two nights in a falls view room at Salish Lodge, first night was excellent - comfortable room, good view of the falls and woodlands surrounding the lodge, good facilities and own log fire to take the chill away!! The room was clean, fresh and everything you'd expect. Day 2 however there was no housekeeping service, despite us being... More

For our 35th Anniversary I wanted it to be a special experience so I choose the Salish Lodge. I have to say it was very disappointing. We were not made aware of the significant construction project, crane noise etc. The room was nice, however the refrigerator had the previous guests lunch and snacks still in it making us question the... We stayed at Salish because our son's wedding was held there; having stayed there we would recommend it for other special occasions and getaways. Undeniably romantic with woodburning fireplaces, forest and falls view balconies, warm wood furnishings, a quiet library, a secluded bar and casual dining area, and wonderful grounds and paths, this is a destination for healing and renewal.... The lodge itself was rusticly beautiful. Wood buring fireplaces and large jacuzzi tubs made you not want to leave your room. We especially liked morning coffee each morning in the library and at 4 pm afternoon tea with fresh baking each afternoon. The staff were professional and wanted to make your stay comfortable. Our dog was most welcome but the... More
