Unfortunately, the owner closed the business and the cottage is closed. Hopefully one day it will be reopened by a new owner. It is a wonderful property, waiting for new owners to create another haven.

Simone has retired from the B&B business and we will miss staying in the "Secret Room" and her absolutely wonderful breakfasts and this beautiful home. In case you're not aware, she still has vacation rentals in the Sequim-Port Angeles area. We have rented through her for years, and wouldn't want to deal with anyone else.
We couldn't have had a better stay. SImone was accommodating on every level--- when my husband made the reservation he failed to mention we had a dog but no problem. I woke up not feeling well and had a special breakfast with a smile. Simone had great local recommendations for places to see, things to do tailored to our specific...

Groveland Cottage in Dungeness is a unique place. Built in the 19th century, and furnished with antiques, it evokes the atmosfere of days when home meant comfort, fireplace, company and food. Genuinely friendly, Simone Nichols, the owner of the Cottage, has created a place where relaxing is easy, and almost mandatory. Don't miss the opportunity to experience a really old...

Stayed in the happy room one night. The place definitely has a lot of atmosphere. Great hospitality and great breakfast, however not everyone will like the historic style of this place.
We had a wonderful one-night stay at Groveland in September and wish we could have stayed longer. Based on recommendations from other Advisors, we booked the Happy Room. It made us happy indeed. We loved the private balcony where we settled with a glass of wine for an amazing sunset. Simone was so helpful and kind. My husband needs to...

My husband and I stayed in the Happy Room for two nights in September. It is charming and the personal balcony attached to the room is a beautiful place to watch the sun rise. Simone's breakfasts were great and there was so much that we could wait until dinner time to eat again! She made a great recommendation for a...

We left two vmails and 3 emails for Simone and she never returned one. So, we will never know how the property rates because we won't do business with folks who don't want our business.
Trip Advisor:
After looking on my own for a five day get-a-way for two families, (2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 2 children), I found the number of Groveland Cottage B&B. Simone Nichols very helpfully found the perfect rental for us-“Discovery”.
Beautifully and simply appointed with a great view of the water, great deck, Weber barbeque, fully equipped kitchen, rambler floor...

Just a sweet old house with friendly little rooms and lots of antiques and quirky touches. Then I opened the bathroom door in the Happy Room... wow! Nice tub and skylight with a door onto a huge balcony smothered in vines and an incredible view! Really a great place to hang out, that deck and bathroom. Lots of super hot...
