This was not only a unique and fun place to stay, but attention was paid to every detail. Our caboose, the Western, was great. It was well appointed, including a refrigerator designed to look like a safe, lots of western theme dvd's and western art and historical items. The caboose was extremely comfortable and quite roomy. We enjoyed reading in... More

Was a little concerned that the gimmick would interfere with comfort, but that was definitely not the case. We stayed in the Western, and the attention to detail for comfort was amazing. Also attention to detail in keeping the theme was impressive, down to even the western-themed DVD's next to the TV. Since these are actual old cabooses, the steps... More

My wife and I stayed in the Orient Express after a day in Sequim. What fun! This is one of the most unique B&Bs I've ever stayed at, and the hosts are fabulous! The caboose is surprisingly roomy, with a very comfortable bed and even a large jetted, soaker tub. There is a lot of attention paid to decor -... More

Loved the novelty of staying in a caboose from yesteryear. We stayed in the Casey Jones caboose. Nothing luxurious but totally authentic. With original lighting and creaky wood floor one could get a sense of what life was like in the caboose. Separate toilet area from the rest of the bathroom (shower, no bathtub). Everything in room was railroad related... More

We stayed in the Circus car; it was nicely decorated with the circus theme. It was fun to sit in the cupola. The whirlpool bathtub was huge and very comfortable. Olaf was a great host and he made you feel welcome. His wife Charlotte is the gourmet breakfast cook, and everyone gave her a round of applause. The grounds were... More

Spent the night in the Casey Jones caboose in April. First time even in a caboose and very unique and different B & B experience. Cozy and comfortable bed. Bathroom with a lighted shower head that we had never seen before. Olaf recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner which was only topped the next morning in the dining car when... More

My husband and I took my brother (a train buff) and his wife to Red Caboose Getaway. They had the Grape Escape. What a spacious room (for a caboose!) with a great soaking tub. Each caboose has incredible attention to detail. Somehow Olaf has found a way to truly follow the theme of each caboose without seeming too try to... More

I love to meet people who are passionate about what they do, and Olaf, the engineer and conductor of this unique B & B definitely fits the bill. We spent one weeknight at the end of August in the Casey Jones car, and as there was only one other couple staying that night, Olaf treated us to a tour of... More

My son, husband and dad stayed here for one night, while the girls had a room in a boring hotel down the street. My son is quite train crazy and loved every minute spent here. The caboose was comfortable and the service was great. From what I heard about breakfast, it was delicious. I did see the menu and wish... More
