I try to give hotel owners the benefit of the doubt, but it's hard to do at this place. The Lodge is a spacious place, and even has a short walking trail. That's it for the nice stuff. The bathroom had some serious issues, starting with the Kleenex dispenser which, being metal, was very rusty, as was the metal towel... More

The look of the lodge is very tired but the room was clean and quiet. I don't believe you can categorize what they served in the morning as "breakfast"-cookies, bananas, dry cereal, coffee. After checking out and much further on our trip, we realized we left a leather tote bag behind in the room. When I called and spoke to... More

New (indifferent?) owners; Stale but an alternative to camping or Econolodge Currently, I would only recommend this place as an alternative to camping or the Sequim Econolodge (which was an even worse experience). The negative: My room had an old, stale smoke odor (but not sneeze inducing like Econolodge). Room looked somewhat clean-ish enough (one long hair left in the... More

Very dated! Too high a price for the room we got. No comfortable chair or couch to sit on. Rooms don't look like they get cleaned very well. Certainly expected more. You can't even buy a bottle of water and I sure wasn't going to drink water from the bathroom faucet.

The houskeeping we met were FANTASTIC! But seriously, how is one person actually expected to clean 20 rooms in 5 hours with no breaks? Coming from experience in Hospitality, this is a prime example of why hotels in general leave a bad impression on people. The new owners (of 2 months) care nothing about the guests safety, and there is... More

PROS: Rooms mostly clean and odor free Staff friendly CONS: Extremely rundown. Pool NOT usable. Rooms unsafe and not secure. No coffee. VERY uncomfortable bed Over priced. No breakfast (only rolls and OJ... NO Coffee!) *** WARNING: ROOMS ARE NOT AS PICTURED ON WEBSITE *** If you viewed the website, this place looks very reasonable. DO NOT stay here unless you want to be treated like crap and have dirty sheets when you checkin. My wife and son got to lodge at 11:00 pm after a long day. When they got to the room and pulled back the sheets on one of the beds, there was what appeared to be blood stains on the sheet.... More

Website said pool opened in May and when I got there the owner said it's not open until July. I told him i was disappointed because i brought my son and his cousins so they could swim. The owner said it would be too late anyways because we checked in at 11p.m. I explained that I realized that but could... More
