Great for six adults and one kiddo! We stayed in the penthouse suite, and the full kitchen was a big help! Great fishing, great memories made on a family trip with adult kiddos, spouses and one grandchild. Room was comfortable, clean and just perfect after a long day on the water! Will return!

The room was clean, the bed was clean, the view of the bay is gorgeous- complete with Bald Eagles and Blue Herons with the constant squawking of sea gulls. Fine for one night but you could hear the softest conversation next door....so bring earplugs. We knew what to expect from reading the reviews.

We just got back from a fantastic 4 days in Sekiu. The Van Riper's resort was 100% better than the one we stayed at last year. It is CLEAN, the kitchen utensils are up to date, the stove worked great and did not feel like you were going to electrocute yourself by using it. New microwave and clean floors and... More

We were looking for a good place to overnight before heading out to Cape Flattery and then south down the coast. Sekiu is a small fishing town with only a couple of places to stay. Van Riper's is right on the water (harbor) and was a pleasant surprise. Don't expect a big city room, but we had a nice, clean... More

We wanted an inexpensive overnight between hikes. This place was ideal, not too far to Neah Bay, Ozette etc. Great views over the marina, nice neighbors, and lots of fishing activity for entertainment. The fishing crowd was a lot of families who were early to bed and very quiet. This isn't the upscale resort but all the amenities are there.... More

Sekiu is the only serious tho' small town between Port Angeles & Neah Bay, on your way to Cape Flattery or the north coastal beaches. Not expecting much from a self-avowed fishing town, and willing to put up with anything even tolerable for 1 night, I was very pleasantly surprised at this "resort". 2 buildings with various rooms carved out... Great place with no major complaints. The public bathrooms can use a big face lift. It should not stink and look that bad. YIKES ! The staff are nice and the rates are acceptable. There store has everything you need for fishing.

This is the best place to stay in Sekiu hands down. Very nice staff & owners, not like the a-holes on the far end of town. We stayed in a two bedroom (cheap room) and it suited our needs perfect. This is a fishing town so the rooms are designed just to suite your needs. There are two bedrooms, a... More
