My friends and I spent a weekend in the Rainforest cabin. The cabin is right on the beach. It was very clean and well set up with amenities. The owners were fabulous with their hospitality and information. They made a bonfire each evening and were very helpful with information about things to do in the area.

This is a great place for people looking to escape from the urban environment and experience the far reaches of the Olympic Peninsula. Situated on a rocky point jutting out from the edge of a secluded sandy beach. Each cottage has amazing views of the sea. The owner gave me a tour of the property where I found each cabin... More

This tiny resort, operated by truly lovely hosts and a charming exuberant dog, appeals to quirky ecotourist types. We loved it! Our tiny but well equipped cottage was small for three of us, but the view of the ocean, directly outside our door and the kindness of our hosts and their willingness to help with any and all of our... Fantastic. We went to Makah Days August 22 - 24 and stayed 2 nights at Chito Beach. Weather perfect, accommodation spotless and well stocked with everything needed. Kitchen was compact and fully functional. You know you are in a good place when the mattress is more comfortable than the one at home!. Sourcing that mattress now as sleeping on it... More

We have been here for the second time and we stayed again in the bird house (just perfect for two persons) with spectacular view from the Deck in front of the cabin. Aside from the spectacular sunrise at 6 in the morning, we saw whales, porpoises, otters (only once), an eagle and hawk etc. The cabin had everything needed to... More

I traveled from Seattle for a weekend away from the city with a friend. The bird's nest cabin was perfect. The gorgeous view of the beach from pretty much every window in the cabin was just what I needed! On an early morning beach stroll I saw a whale, porpoises, and three otters. The owners were friendly and helpful, but gave... More

The sense of privacy, the view, the proximity to two separate beaches, the complete kitchen, the creative dressing of existing buildings, the considerate and sincere welcome before a timely exit ending with "We're easy to find if you need anything!" Felt real good. Unloading the car I heard a lawn mower start -- happy, because I wouldn't be running it... More

Stayed here as it was near the Makah reservation. Perfect space in the cabin with amazing views. Extremely clean, everything perfect. It is near the road but it would be physically impossible to not be near the road and by the water there. Not a problem. Super friendly too. Highly recommended.

The Rain Forest cabin was perfect for us. The views are spectacular and the owners are so friendly/accommodating. We saw whales, sea lions and bald eagles daily. We even kayaked with the whales. The location is perfect for getting to that area of Olympic National Park for hiking. We have seen a lot of beautiful places in the world but... More
