We stayed at the Birdhouse for 2 nights on the start of a long trip sight-seeing around Washington and Oregon. At the end of our trip, my husband and I both agreed that Chito Beach was the most peaceful and relaxing setting we were able to stay in and we wish that we had stayed longer. We hope to make... We stayed in the Rockhouse for 5 nights and we hated to leave. Isolated (but with wi-fi and TV) great views, waves crashing and a great home base for day trips to Olympic N.P. Romantic couples retreat. Owners are friendly but not imposing and we never saw any of the other guests..

We have stayed at Chito Beach Resort every year for the past four summers. We LOVE it there. The cabins are all clean, cozy, and comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxing and rejuvenating with beautiful views wherever you look. However, what really makes Chito Beach as special as it is are the people who run it. Brian, Ali, and Amy are... We paid $1600 for 9 adults for 4 nights. They didn't clean a lick our whole time there (that's 9 adults who ate 3 meals a day and went hiking, fishing, beach combing, etc.). We cleaned the best we could with the supplies provided, doing dishes and taking out our trash. We all ate and congregated in the Rainforest Cabin... More

Katie, We are sorry that your Party did not understand that we are a NON fishing resort. Chito Beach Resort is a House keeping Resort. Our guests tend to love their privacy and once you are here with us we do not enter your cabin. We do not provide daily maid service but you have what is needed for daily... More

We have booked over the Internet directly and it was fast and smoothy. The surprise came when we arrived, as the place is marvelous and very clean. Directly on the beach situated you can enjoy the beauty of the Pacific and you can grill your fish etc. directly in front of your hous. The owners put a lot of effort... More

While getting to Chito is a 4 hour drive from Seattle down nausea inducing twisty roads it is oh so very worth the trip. Tucked away on a very quiet part of the Olympic Peninsula is Chito Beach Resort. The rooms are well stocked with all of the basics required to make meals. Stop at the grocery stores in Port... More

Chito Beach Resort is a gorgeous little retreat at (what feels like) the edge of the world. We stayed in The Rainforest Cabin, which was steps away from the water. Our stay was sublime, and I only wish we'd stayed longer. If you're checking out anything on the north end of the Olympic Peninsula, I really wouldn't bother staying anywhere... More

Chito Beach Resort is an amazing find. The location is remote, peaceful and beautiful. The service is excellent and the cabins are well thought out. Do stop in Port Angeles on your way out for groceries and booze, as there is not much available locally.

We stayed in the birdhouse and it was great. We went there as part of a vacation trip for our 20th wedding anniversary. As the reviews before said Brian and Ali were extremely friendly and helpful. This was a great place to stay as a base for exploring a large part of the penninsula as it is very central to... More

I'm hesitant to write about what I consider to be one of the most wonderful little resorts in America because (selfishly) I would love to keep this remote paradise a secret. The cabins are really lovely -- very clean, attractive and well-maintained. Check out the website for pictures. They are really true to life. The views are breathtaking. I'd recommend... More
