We were visiting family on the Long Beach Peninsula for a week. They very kindly ensconced us here at the Shelburne. The whole ambiance is so warm and welcoming. We were in room 12 which overlooks the lovely garden areas. We were able to enjoy the balcony a few times due to the pretty Spring time weather. The breakfast which... More

A very comfortable stay at a unique place. I would stay again. Roughly 25 minutes from Astoria, we stayed here when Astoria was full. We had two rooms, both with doubles, and had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was outstanding! A grocery store across the street was convenient, and the area was close to the waterfront. This place is not like... More

This inn is in a small town, which could put you in mind of a New England village if you walk the residential streets. There is a boardwalk in easy walking distance from the inn, and a paved path through the beach grass. (You will appreciate a nice walk after the excellent breakfast at the inn.) We find the accommodations... More

The Long Beach Peninsula can be a bit rainy in December...but if you want to cheer yourself (or your spouse) up just head for the Shelburne Inn. The 100+ year-old inn is really authentically charming. If you want a big, modern, slick room and facility this is not the place for you...if you like antiques, period furniture, sincerely nice people... More

We stayed two nights, and generally it was a good experience. The lunch in the lounge was very good, ($10 for a martini and $7 for a 1/2 glass of wine was a little much) Dinner was also very good, as was the complimentary breakfast. The large shower in room 16 was great1 I told the lady at check in... More

On our way through Seaview WA we needed a quick lunch spot. At first glance we thought we would be out of luck. About half way through town we happened on a very charming old hotel/pub with very nice outside gardens. We thought we would duck in for a burger and get back on the road. To our delight we... More

I came here with 8 other college sorority friends and we felt very welcome. It started with little printed welcome messages which carried the insignia of our sorority, and then was followed up with a special bouquet of roses in our colors. Very nice ! The staff could not have been any more gracious and accommodating. They even let us... More

We have never stayed at a B&B or inn before so this was a new experience and we have nothing to compare it to. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and made check in quite simple. The inn was very interesting, lots of amazing woodwork and stained glass. The room was small, yet comfortable and the 2nd... More
