We booked the clarion for a visit to seattle as it is right across the street from the seatac link light rail station. Meaning that the hotel price was cheap and it cost $3 to get to seattle on the train. Super convenient. Unfortunately, the non smoking room we got smelt like old stale cigarettes and even with the old... More

My planes got messed up due to "maintenance" issues which landed me unexpectedly in Seattle on a Tuesday night. We checked 32 hotels before finding a room at this hotel-apparently cruise ships go in and out on Tuesdays and Thursday's-so book ahead! Check in & small restaurant/bar were great. Hallways were musty & layout was odd w/long ramps. Room was... More

Whether we are staying overnight to catch a game at Safeco Field, or flying out from Seatac, the Clarion has become our first choice. It is not new, not fancy, but everything you need is there; snack bar, walking distance to the airport or transit in to downtown or Safeco. Long term parking available. If you are going to the... Musty, possible mold? Left with a sinus infection. It would have been a reasonable place if not for the smell. I don't believe it can be fixed short of major renovation. I was in two rooms and they smelled the same way. Good pool and business center. Coffee and drinks were ok. Food was below average.

I'm a long term user of Choice Hotels. As a platinum member and Travel agent, I have certain expectations of these hotels, especially if I'm going to promote to my customers. Upon check-in, staff didn't acknowledge my membership level. Staff seemed surly, not smiling or otherwise seemed unwelcoming (there were 3 staff at the counter). Learned there wasn't any breakfast... I was surprised and delighted to see the Clarion Hotel Seattle Airport added an eatery within the hotel, namely the Bistro Dining Room. Nothing exceptional but they make pizzas and salads, etc. with various snacks and drinks to choose from. Pizzas are large enough for 1-2 people on average. Had a BBQ pizza which was tasty and filling for self.... More

Clean, quiet and very convenient to the airport. It's literally across the street. I could see planes at the terminal from the room window. Couldn't hear planes taking off though, which was a concern, being so close. No need to worry though. Rooms were clean but dated. Good for one or two nights but definitely not a long term stay.

It was a very nice stay. Clean.. Maybe a lil outdated in the halls.. But who cares. The room was big, comfy and most important clean. Pillows were amazing and bathroom was nice. The staff were young ladies, a lil rude. Seemed they might need a different line of work like doing hair. Lol overall good stay. I will be... More

The Bathrooms need to be updated very small and dated. The staff was very good and the location near the airport was great. We stayed for 3 days and this was a great value compared to other hotels in this area.

flew into SeaTac in the wee hours of the morning. Arrived via the clarion shuttle (24hrs.) and easily checked in per our registration. Room was very dated and worn but size was nice with a bedroom totally separate from the living room. Air conditioner worked but rattled. The room just did not smell really clean or maybe just old. No... More
