We were married at the Willcox House 22 years ago and decided to visit Philip and Cecilia again for dinner on our anniversary. We had not seen them since our last visit 10-12 years ago. Great decision by us! What a lovely setting along the Hood Canal. Phenomenal meal prepared by Cecilia and served by a good team of assistants.... More

An absolutely enchanting experience. My wife and I loved this place and plan to return! Tip: Be sure to go when the Wisteria is in bloom. The beautiful flowers hang over the house near the dining room.

Looking at the reviews, I think that I would only be repeating all the good things that have already been said. Of particular note was the feeling of comfort and welcome, and lack of pretension, that made our stay exactly, or maybe more, than we had hoped it could be. Thank you, Phillip and Cecilia

We chose the Willcox House - as close on picturesque Hood Canal as you can get - for the first two nights as the gateway to our roundtrip of the Olympic Peninsula. And what a pleasant, relaxing start it was. After a strenuous trans-Atlantic flight it was just an easy one and a half hours drive and we were greeted... More

My wife and I needed a quick get away from our busy lives, so we chose to stay here on our 12th anniversary in March 2013. We spent 3 delightful nights in Constance Room. While walking the gardens and strolling along the beach we noticed life just stopped. Exploring the countless nooks and crannies within the mansion made us feel... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights at the Wilcox House as part of our honeymoon. We had such a grand time. Phillip and Cecilia were amazing hosts. They did everything for us...we felt like a king and queen for two days! The food was amazing! Cecilia is an amazing chef (cook is an understatement). We stayed in the... More

When our friends announced that they had a surprise present for us at our wedding several years ago, we did not realize at first how wonderful and out of the ordinary it would turn out to be. They really knew how to surprise us! On that late summer evening, as we followed Ray and Sherrill's car amongst the tall trees... More

My wife & I stayed at The Wilcox House in July of 2010. We had no idea what to expect having never been in the area before and were amazingly surprised. Phillip and Cecilia Hughes are amazing hosts and as pleasent as they are helpful. The area surrounding the house is beautiful and enchanting and the food that Cecilia and... More

If you are traveling to the Northwest, it is well worth the effort to find your way to the Wilcox House, and stay for 2 or 3 days. It is absolute relaxation. It is not a spa; it is not a resort. The Wilcox House is a 1930's mansion, with just 4 or 5 guest rooms, where people come, and... More

We recently spent a wonderful, relaxing weekend at the Willcox House. Our room, the Clark Gable room, was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It had a wood deck on which we could relax and enjoy the spectacular view of the Hood Canal, pine forests, and snow-capped mountains. Breakfast consisted of a buffet of 9 or 10 different perfectly-ripe fruits, granola,... More
