This is the perfect spot to spend a quiet, comfortable evening after a day in the mountains! It's clean and safe. It's no frills and very reasonably priced. If you're looking for a peaceful setting, pleasant neighbors, and hosts that respect your privacy...this is the place! Enjoy!!

Enjoyed my stay in this modest, single level motel with a Rockport address but located 3 miles west of Marblemount, a small mountain town with eateries and other services. Rockport has no services, only a State Park on the Skagit River. Driving out to this lodging after dark with thick forest on either side of the road, I noticed a... More

Just a great down home place to stay. Comfy beds and owners that will make sure you have a great stay and enjoy the area. This is one of the most beautiful areas in the US right at the foot of the Northern Cascades.

Stayed here while visiting North Cascades National Park. Very small room, cluttered with multiple random tables and chairs, hardly had room for our suitcases. The shower was tiny, hard to move around in. Traffic along the road moves very fast, so be careful. Motel was clean.

Pluses are scenic setting, good beds, alarm clock, shampoo, moisturizing lotion, community refrigerator, large room, mom and pop ownership, nice porch, wood paneling on walls if you like that, and beams across the ceiling. The negatives are not enough lighting, no air conditioning, Direct TV dish aimed 10 degrees above horizon into a grove of trees which caused poor reception/pixel... More

I stayed here on a recent climbing adventure to Sahale Mountain. My room was clean and comfortable and the owners were extremely nice. I am planning to climb Sahale again next year and will stay there again.

Stopping at this roadside motel almost feels like stepping back in time - in a good way. Eight rooms are arranged in an L-shape around a gravel parking lot just off highway 20. There's no A/C, but locking steel security screen doors will keep you cool at night. The rooms are a bit dated but scrupulously clean. One star deducted... More

This is a wonderful little motel in a beautiful setting, away from everything. The motel building itself doesn't look like much on the outside, but on the inside, my room was everything I could ask for. There were a lot of special touches, some of them delightfully quirky, such as the 70s style wall-to-wall shag carpeting and wood paneling on... More

Stopped here after a long and beautiful drive from the Olympic Peninsula. It's a small rustic place, about 8 units. We paid $75.00 for our room. We had a queen bed, shower, microwave, no ice, very quiet and pleasant, nice breeze in the evening, kitchen utensils, Direct TV which was problematic (broken picture signal)with some channels, no refrigerator, nice easy... I was doing some day hiking in the Cascades and and I needed a convenient place to stay. Totem trail is right at the mouth of the Northern Cascades National Park. This is convenient for NCNP to the east and also Mount Baker National Forest to the West. There is lots of great hiking within an hour of each direction.... More
