Stopped here after a long and beautiful drive from the Olympic Peninsula. It's a small rustic place, about 8 units. We paid $75.00 for our room. We had a queen bed, shower, microwave, no ice, very quiet and pleasant, nice breeze in the evening, kitchen utensils, Direct TV which was problematic (broken picture signal)with some channels, no refrigerator, nice easy... I was doing some day hiking in the Cascades and and I needed a convenient place to stay. Totem trail is right at the mouth of the Northern Cascades National Park. This is convenient for NCNP to the east and also Mount Baker National Forest to the West. There is lots of great hiking within an hour of each direction.... More

I read another review that really sums this place up...it feels like home. The owners are very friendly and inviting. Totally relaxed, informal vibe. The rooms are very clean; simple, yet effective setup. Pretty fast wifi considering the location. Loved the basketball court, gazebo, and porch area. Pretty close to the park. Even though you're in the country, there's a... More

Memorial day weekend we stayed at this great little gem. Super impressed! Owners are the sweetest, bathrooms and rooms are very clean, cozy and let me just talk about the beds...pillow top squishy, and clean soft linens. Our room #1 was equipped with the basics, coffee maker and microwave. My husband mentioned I had forgotten my curling iron at home... More

Our family stayed one night in this motel last weekend when visiting North Cascades National park. The owner was very nice and helpful, she and her family have runned this motel for 25 years. It's right by the highway 20, but pretty quiet at night. We stayed in room 7, with a full size bed and 2 single beds. The... More

Close to the Park and close to a good restaurant called Buffalo Run a couple of miles away. The Totem trail is rustic, but clean . Has microwave with in room coffee. The showers are real small, so if you have a problem bending over, be careful. Very nice people running the motel. Easy to see right on Hwy 20 on... More

In our opinion the best choice to explore the North Cascades. Our room (#8, 2 king size beds) was extremely clean, well equipped with coffee maker, microwave and dishes, there is a shared fridge and a BBQ place. The choice of breakfast and dinner restaurants is limited in Marblemount therefore we really appreciated this possibility. Last but not least Sonja... More

Rooms are small but comfortable. Price is right and there are few options on the road leading to the North Cascades Natl. Park entrance. This is a classic roadside motel with good service and basic accommodations.

Talk about your hidden gem? Well, it has to be this place. The reviewers did not lie. We stayed here while hiking Washington state, and it was more than we could hope for. Don't let the Mom and Pop facade fool you. That's part of it's charm. The room was clean and comfortable, and we slept with the windows open.... More

We stayed in No. 1 and the bed was great---just like home. Bathroom was modern (shower a bit tight) but clean and bright. Two chairs and a table out front were a bonus. Ice maker not working during our visit but that was the only negative. Eclectic furnishings but everything worked. We'd stay again.
