I was heading to Spokane , I drove 5 hours from Kelowna. When it got dark the only place I could find was this place. The service and the room quality was surprisingly decent for a place practically in the middle of nowhere. overall I had a nice stay.

So unhappy holes in the wall, smelly very, very unfriendly and we mainly booked because our grandson age 6 was promised a pool (pool not in use for 2 yrs) even though it says it was open on their website. This is NOT the place to stay !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed here on our way to Spokane. The hotel was pet friendly and had nice areas for our dog. It is less expensive than other hotels I could find in town. This motel is under new management. The staff was very helpful. We were happy with our stay.

The manager was a lovely man who tried to make our stay comfortable. The beds were uncomfortable, the towels thin and scratchy and the door had a gap that allowed local creatures to wander in and out. The cooling did not work properly and was very loud. The pool had been drained and the wi-fi was too weak to use... More

Travelling often for work, I mainly use small motels rather than big chains. First time at the Colwell, I was "greeted" by a woman yelling at her small children. Then the towels disappeared from my room while I was at the jobsite and when I asked about getting some clean towels that evening I was questioned as if I'd stolen... More

This was the only hotel within 100 miles that had a room, and it was 2 Am. Thank fully she was awake. Very nice staff. Rooms were expensive for the condition of this place. For what it was room were clean and large. Bed was like sleeping on plywood.

Thank you to the lady (I believe her name is Lisa) for staying up late to allow my husband who was broken down on a motorcycle trip entrance to your hotel. You went above and beyond and we truly appreciate the customer service at midnight. Thanks again!

Do not stay there. I wanted a place to sleep in the middle of nowhere during a long drive. I was going to arrive late and leave early so I chose someplace cheap. I didn't anticipate a used bar or soap on the bathroom sink. I didn't expect a dirty bandana on the nightstand. I didn't imagine dried blood stains... More

I have stayed at this motel many times in the past. NEW owners, I understand they do not live in the country and do not care about the upkeep of this property! The pool was GREEN and smelled of bleach - signs said NO swimming (we booked here for the pool!) But people were in the pool anyways.. (Locals?) The... More
