I don't stay at many hotels but this one was top notch as far as I'm concerned. Very comfortable and the layout of the hotel created an atmosphere very intimate with the nearby river and river view. The bar drinks were very nicely priced, and the location was great for what I needed.

The desk clerk that checked us in didn't explain anything about the place like the restaurant, pool, etc. Room outdated smelled musky, no electronic outlets, no bar to go into tub, A/C control outdated.

Stayed 2 nights at this Hotel. After check-in, we found out pool and hot tub were closed, due to a wedding. It was 101 degrees! We paid extra for a view of the Courtyard, thats where the wedding was held. Nice but tired after traveling. No sleep or Pool. The room had dirty bedside tables, the fridge door wouldn't shut,... I have been staying at the Hanford House Red Lion in Richland WA since the early 1970's. Our family and friends ( 18 people) stayed there this last weekend. Over the past years the hotel and grounds condition and hotel staff's service diminished. HOWEVER... This last week we were very impressed with the upgrades and updates of the hotel rooms,... More

The hotel staff overall are very polite, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. However, the electrical outlets in rooms are very old and nothing stays plugged in. Potential fire hazard if not updated soon.

We recently visited Richland Wa for a golf outing and to visit family. We were not able to get a King room and were offered a Queen room with a handicapped equipped bathroom. The room, despite new carpet and curtains, was very dated and the shower leaked all the way to the carpet every time the shower was used. We... More

MARGINAL: Richland people are nice and the staff are friendly which covers for a 1960 era hotel that fundamentally needs a major re-do. Rooms are quite small and furnishings a bit dated. Wear n' tear throughout. This 2 story hotel is shaped like a question mark with an inner courtyard that is quite nice. River views from the bar/restaurant are... More

I had such a wonderful experience at the Red Lion! The staff was so accommodating and helpful. They had to close the pool for few hours and offered a discount to compensate. I would stay here anytime!

We just returned from 10 days at the Red Lion Hanford House and were very pleased with the location, food, pool, and staff. We were in Richland for a baseball tournament with 12 other families and all of us found the Hanford House to be the ideal spot for our group. The hotel overlooks a courtyard, pool / hot tub... More

We spent one night at this hotel. We decided to pay a little extra for a hotel with an outdoor pool, knowing it would be hot when we arrived. Our 7 & 10 year old daughters could hardly stand it, they were so excited, when we told them we were going to go swimming and stay in a hotel (we... More
