We went to the Rain Forest Resort Village in January and it was quiet and beautiful. It is just down the road from the famous Quinault Lodge and they both are overlooking Lake Quinault (but this place was far less expensive). The rooms are motel style and have basically everything you need. There is a small store and a pretty... More

This is not to say that the interior of the "cabin" desperately needed rehab but that it could use some work in the bathroom. Flaws were minor, bed was good, room was warm and cozy. Usable but dated kitchen area. Originally intended to use the RV park and this proved to be a very good alternate even for the price.... More

We stayed in cabin 6 for three nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. You can't get much closer to the lake than this! The cabins are rustic but well appointed and comfortable. The cabin provided more room than lodging weve used in the past at Lake Quinault Lodge about a mile up the road. We had a small housekekeping issue the... More

I just returned from a 2 night trip at this resort. We had a Village living room suite on the second floor with lake views. Our View was amazing and I was quite pleased with the care in which we were treated. On arrival we were given 3 maps with highlighted trails that the owner recommended and encouraged to come... What the hotel lacks in amenities it makes up for in location. Getting around the Olympic Peninsula had taken longer than we'd planned, so I called ahead to make sure we would be able to check in after 9pm. They let us know the office would be closed, but that they would tape our key to the front door of... More

We spent three days here last month in one of the motel type rooms. Lovely room with a separate sitting room and a balcony with a perfect view over the lake. We were able to really relax in this sublime setting. There is a restaurant just across the road, also a grocery store which has delicious coffees available all day.... More

This is a wonderful place to stay. We stayed in the main building and asked for the second floor. This gave us a room with a Hugh window where we could lay in bed and look directly out over the lake, or sit on the balcony in chair and watch the water while having a drink. Room was clean and... Rain Forest Village has varying accommodations, including a studio w/ kitchen over the laundromat. It's large, private, and nice, and the laundry isn't a problem. BUT... the kitchen equipment was awful to the point of humor. It looked like a combination of junk from yard sales and "I don't really want to throw this out... I guess I'll put it... More

We stayed in one of the suites. Room was clean but mattress a bit soft for my liking. Overall the hotel is basic but if you don't have to have luxury you will find everything fine. Nice view of lake from the balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Either the store at the hotel which is also the... More

The room is outdated but you cannot beat the wonderful view out of the picture window. The lake and the sunsets are stunning. The store staff which is also the hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. We used the laundry and for the first time in my life putting the minimum amount for a dryer resulted in dry clothing....
