Comfortable and clean rooms overlooking lake. This is a motel, not luxurious but a good value and very well located. Staff, which is located in the adjacent store, is very helpful. A good place to base yourself to do hikes in Olympic National Park rain forest.

No privacy! The room was musty and the brown carpet was stained. The decor was brown to cover up any stains, I imagine. The pillows were very used and awful. We paid a lot of money given what we got in return. The owners should invest some of that money in redoing the place. They were prompt and courteous if... More

First, positives: the view is unbeatable. I was on the second floor with a lake view. Totally brilliant! The staff were great. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant is fantastic. It's also cheaper than the place down the road. The soap and shampoo were good. The shop was nice. Negatives: the room was dark. With all the lights on, it... More

This place reminded me of my camping days as a kid in the 70's when Smokey admonished that only you could prevent forest fires and we collected bottle caps and aluminum can pop tops to redeem for wildlife stickers. The people here are genuine, the cabins are rustic and the surrounding trails are quiet and magical. Ok, the cabins are... More

Lake Quinalt is the reason you are here, right? You didn't come here to pay through the nose for accomadations. Keep that in mind when you are staying here. We were here for just one night on a spur of the moment. So we got the only room left, 219 above the laundromat. Laundromat is open 9am to 9pm so... More

Really, the place is a craphole of a hotel that needs serious maintenance. The toilet rocked back and forth and was obviously leaking from the wax ring based on the damage to the linoleum surrounding the toilet. The laminate wood on the bathroom cabinets was peeling off from the bottom. The in-room coffee maker leaked all over and was a... More

I would have to agree with most of the reviews. It is in a lovely location but it is very outdated and expensive for what you get. The room lacked ambiance and comfort. One window overlooked the parking lot and the other small window overlooked the stairwell so you could watch everyone walking up/down the upstairs and they could watch... More

As most other reviewers note, it's clean and pleasant but outdated. Would say it was neither cheap nor expensive, as there are limited accommodations in Lake Quinault. Parking is a bit crowded. The lake is very pleasant and the Salmon House restaurant is nice.

I will admit this place was clean (reason for the 3 stars because that is ultimately the most important thing) but it was probably last updated in the 1960s (maybe that was when it was built?) Basically an off the street "Mr. Sandman" motel, but, for the price, I was expecting something a little bit nicer like a Holiday Inn... More

The resort has cabins and a two-story motel-like building. We got a room on the bottom floor filled with a bed. The all wood building made for every step to be heard of the neighbor's on the steps or in their room above. The Salmon House restaurant overlooking the lake offers good food and drink. Breakfast and lunch are not... More
