It's an aging motel, however, it was quiet and I had an undisturbed sleep. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but if you're not picky about your mattress or pillows you won't mind. I've gotten used to a soft bed so I wasn't a fan. We had reserved a room where pets were allowed, but didn't end up taking my... More

Had a room with a queen size in it. The room had been recently remodeled and was clean. The shower temperature was plenty hot, but a little touchy, lots of clean towels, and a flat screen TV. It was comfortable, and for the price, it was fine. Quiet, too, and I was satisfied.

I understand the whole "middle of nowhere so we set our own prices" but holy cow this is ridiculous! 100$ for two double beds in a dingy room? The only cool part was the restaurant which I was too afraid of the prices to actually give it a shot. If you have money to blow for absolutely the bare minimum... More

The thing that irritated me most was the fact that they promised a "shuttle" to the wineries upon making our reservation and when we arrived. Saturday afternoon when we needed transportation, the shuttle was not available. We chose this hotel based on that shuttle because transportation to/from wineries is an issue. Many are not walking distance and if you want... More

We were through Prosser in Feb, and decided to try Barn Motor Inn, an independent instead of the well known chain. Mistake. The place was empty, and, I found out, for good reason. Light coverings with no extra blankets on beds. No thermostat, just a very loud heater/cooler with high/low type settings. No hair dryer (are you kidding me?.. I... More

Last minute trying to get reservations in Prosser and everyone was booked up. Told by the Limo people to try the Wine Valley Inn and they had 2 rooms/2 queen beds. Very pleasantly surprised. Loved the rooms, clean, modern and reasonable price! My only problem was we were told that when we got there we would have a van to... More

We were planning to stay at the newly renovated Wine Valley Inn "the old Prosser Motel" but it was all booked out. The front desk clerk suggested that we stay at THE BARN which is now owned by the same people as the Wine Valley Inn. The clerk "Chris" called down to the Barn and let them know that we... More

I called ahead asking for an upstairs. Get there and they give us a downstairs but say no ones above. Ok fine. Come back to our room hours later. Open the door and someone's sleeping in it! So the owner upgrades us to a suite. Well ok that's fine. Next morning someone above was walking so hard and it was... More

We took our chances and booked a room here based on the several good reviews it had received and only one negative review. We were coming to Prosser to due a grape stomp and wine tasting, and I was pretty sure that after a day of fun at the wineries we wouldn't be in any condition to drive back over... More

No economical choices in this town. I guess they think the wine thing makes them really special. That said, the Barn Motor Inn offers decent value (relative to local options). We were attending a local winery dinner and decided we'd rather spend money on wine than more expensive accommodations in the local mediocre chain motel that is hugely overpriced. The... More
