I had the good fortune (and the time) to visit The Green Cat Guest House in Poulsbo, WA last week with a companion; I'd been their before, he hadn't. It was even better than I remembered it. The hosts are very simpatico, it was lovely to see them again. We stayed in the Orchard Room; I've also stayed in the... More

As I arrived, Kimberly the proprietor greeted me with a warm smile, offered sparkling water and carried my suitcase into my delightfully appointed room, which has a coffeemaker, fridge with snacks and mini oven. The shower was hot and strong. It is so quiet and peaceful, you might hear a neighborhood dog or rooster or bird but otherwise soundless. The... More

The difficulty we had in making arrangements to take all four rooms of this B&B should have alerted us to potential problems. Those continued through the months leading to our daughter wedding and original plans for a post-wedding brunch that thankfully fell apart when the owner said she couldn't handle it. The rooms were okay, but the hostess was unfriendly... More

Unfortunately, this reviewer was not the person who made arrangements with us. The original booking through VRBO was handed over to a third party - another family member - who failed to communicate to the rest of her group that our Guest Quarters had been booked as a Vacation Rental, not as individual rooms with private bath and breakfast -... Did not disappoint! The nicest place we stayed. So personal and a completely different feel from staying in a hotel. We were very comfortable and the beds have a temperpedic topped that makes you not want to get up. The food was pretty yummy and we enjoyed that it was tucked away from all the noise.

My wife and I stayed in the Master Suite and it was a complete delight. After driving "through the forest" to get there (it reminded us of Scotland or the north of England) we checked in and then sat on our balcony to partake of the basket of treats we'd pre-ordered (wine, cheese, crackers and fruit). The kitchen is stocked... More

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the GREEN CAT in Poulsbo. The hosts could not have been more helpful and sweet. The grounds are terrific, the breakfast was ample and good . It was the perfect escape from the tensions of a busy work schedule and all a wonderful ferry boat ride from Seattle.

The Green Cat is a great place to stay. Quiet, clean and cozy. Innkeepers Ken and Kimberly are available if you need anything but otherwise you don't see them - unless Ken is working in the garden. I've stayed there a few times and I'll be back!

The hospitable owners, Kimberly and Ken, have mastered the art of providing pampered, personalized attention to their guests' comfort while also respecting their privacy and personal space. Once they have greeted you and shown you your room, you are on your own to explore the lovely grounds and gardens and enjoy the guest kitchen and dining space, which is carefully... More

My husband and I travel the North West for tradeshows. We always like to stay at any og the Guest House Inns, but in particular at the Poulsbo WA, Inn. All staff from manager,Micah, to the service staff are professional, courteous, and willing to make our stay comfortable. Thank you for a restfull place.
