We base our reviews on what we needed the room for and this time we were in town for a wedding and need a room to stay for the night. When we arrived they had our room ready and upgraded us from the basic room to a deluxe suite. We were welcomed with chocolate chip cookies and friendly staff. Our... More

Our reservation was for 2 nights, as we were attending a weekend wedding in the area. We were pleased enough to extend our stay to 3 nights. The rooms may be just a bit dated, but they were pretty spotless. I can only think of two negatives...our room was not ready until 3:40 pm. We were given keys, but walked... More

Thank you for staying with us and writing a review about your stay. We are continually upgrading and renovating the hotel to keep our decor current. Because of occupancy it has to be done in stages. We do keep our Breakfast going later than the posted time when we are full so that we can accommodate all of our guests... More

This hotel was not our first choice. We were happy to find a room on short notice (24 hrs), and noticed when we checked in, there was no vacancy. The staff was friendly enough, and yes they did give us cookies, but then so did the other 2 hotels we stayed in this week. The hotel is old, the furniture... More

Thank you for submitting a review. We appreciate all comments. I went out to check for the moldy smell in the room and could not find it. So, I talked to the housekeeping department and was told that the day before they had changed the shower curtain because it smelled sour. I think that was where the smell was coming... More

My dog and I stayed here while house hunting for over a month after relocating to the area from the east coast. It is one of the few hotels in Kitsap county that allows pets with no weight restriction, so the options were limited. The pet fee of $15.00 a night is pretty intense for a stay that long, I... We are so glad you chose to stay with us. I am sorry you were not pleased with the timing of our housekeeping department. We would have gladly accommodated you at a specific time had we known. Our hosekeepers start at 9:00am and work until they have their rooms done. Depending on how many rooms they have to do determines... More

Spent 1 night over the weekend for my friend's birthday bash at the Clearwater Casino. Only good thing was the free shuttle that was provided by the Casino and they picked us up in their limo in style. Unfortunately the Poulsbo Inn Motel was the downfall for the weekend we spent. First, motel still uses the old bed spreads on... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We do have bedspreads on our beds, but they are not old. We recently replaced all of our bedspreads. Our breafast room accommodates 30 people at a time. I am sorry that you came at a time when there were so many people in the Breakfast room. We did get... More

Stay at the Poulsbo Inn and enjoy views of the Olympic foothills. Their outdoor pool was inviting with tables in the sun or shade! The room offers microwave , refrig and a Keurig!!! How nice is that for you coffee lovers. After enjoying your coffee brewed right in your room, go to the continental breakfast where you can make waffles,... More

We only stayed overnight as we arrived from Canada and were taking the ferry to Seattle in the morning. At check-in we were greeted with a very friendly staff member. That was so nice since it was 11:00 PM and we were very tired. The chocolate chip cookies she presented us was also a nice surprise. The mattresses in our... More

We return every year to take the Bainbridge Ferry over to Safeco Field for Mariner Games. We have always had a nice stay but last time wasn't as good. The people above us never went to bed and we heard them walking around all night long. The stove in the unit is falling apart and would be scary to use... More

My parents were coming into town to visit with my brothers kids. They made a reservation, which the front desk said didi not need to be held with a credit card. Since my parents were running late they called the hotel to let them know and to make sure a room would be held. This was at around 6 pm.... More

In this case the guest called at 4pm and were told if they would not be here by 6pm they would need to leave a credit card to hold past 6pm. Our cancellation policy is by 6pm day of arrival which is more lenient than most hotels. We cancelled the room at 6:30pm because we were sold out. I am... More

We stayed at the Poulsbo Inn two separate nights in early June. Positives: convenient to what tourists want to visit, the waterfront, casino, Bainbridge Island and the Seattle ferry. Some of the employees were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are reasonably roomy, quiet, and the exterior of the buildings and grounds are well-maintained. The complimentary breakfast is adequate. Price... More
