The place was immaculately clean with super comfortable beds. The best part was John's recommendation to the Fountain Cafe--my new favorite restaurant in Washington (thinking about driving over from Seattle to eat there). more
We're new to bed & breakfast lodging, and this definitely got us hooked. The room was cozy, clean and comfortable -- small, but the private bath will full-size jet tub made up for it! A very nice little place; up-town & about a 3 block walk to a wonderful Italian restaurant; bit more of a walk to the old-town area of Pt. Townsend. Good value for the area. I stayed in the "Teddy Bear" room which was perfect for just me, although would have been fine if my husband had joined me as well.... more

Enjoyed our stay in this Victorian town. The Blue Gull Inn exceeded our expectations with their excellent breakfast and homey rooms. Can easily walk to the waterfront downtown or the uptown area with shops and restaurants. Would love to stay again!!! more
I had a very relaxing time at the Blue Gull Inn. My room was ready for me early since I was walking from the ferry. I was able to settle in very comfortably even though the innkeepers were out running errands. They welcomed me when they returned. The bed was great! I slept almost 12 hours which I really needed.... more
We stayed here for three nights in late August. The room was lovely; breakfasts great; owners helpful and friendly. Recommend it highly. more
This B&B will become an annual destination for summer vacation! Port Townsend is of course wonderful, but this B&B was a sure part of it! We were well welcomed by our host John, and made to feel 'at home' and comfortable right at the get go.
