Yes, it's a beautiful and charming place, but you need to bring your own alarm clock or have your cell phone set up to give you a wake-up call. The front desk took about 2 hours to find a clock for us and it must have come from the basement in it's 1950's glory. There's also no coffee pot and... More

Don't expect a modern convention hotel, just a wonderfully funky historic place. We stayed in an upstairs room with a private bathroom and a huge amount of room for the three of us, right on the water. It felt like we were in the early 20th Century, but everything was clean and comfortable.Make sure you see this place in on... More

My husband and I loved this place. We stayed in room 5, the deck and view was wonderful. The king bed was very comfy. Very high ceiling and huge windows. The decor was worn but the location and view great. Wish we could stay longer.

My brother and I have been staying at the Waterstreet Hotel for over a decade each year when we go to the Centrum Jazz Festival. This is a wonderful place to stay if you like Victorian atmosphere, clean rooms, and real people. We have had wonderful, consistently good experiences for a decade or more. This is a small town, and... More

It's entirely possible that you could enjoy your time in this hotel, but we were very disappointed. We thought, "Great! An old-fashioned historic hotel in a historic old town!" In fact, the hotel just made us feel poor for staying there (despite the fact that the room cost almost $200 as we were there in high season). Feeling poor on... More

Historic hotels often have historic mattresses but not our room at the Watersreet. We had a room at the front of the hotel so no water view but we weren't bothered by street noises. We were woken early by seagulls though! The room was large and airy. The ceiling fan kept us comfortable even during the heatwave of early August.

We flew 2000 miles, from Eastern time zone to the Pacific time zone, and we had a very long day. Our first night in WA was to be spent in this lovely old hotel next to the water. I reserved room 6. Before our flight I called and spoke to the proprietor who gave me directions from the airport and... More

This is lovely old hotel in the middle of town that let's you step back in time. The rooms are nice, the prices good and the desk help friendly. If you can't spend the night, at least ask to see a room.

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful place (right on the water!) recently. Mary, the front desk lady, was fantastic and SO helpful, we were even able to stay an extra unexpected night! The ceilings are high, no air conditioning but the fans kept the room a pleasant temperature, and the sink and desk in the room were charming. The bathrooms are... More

Had a great visit, friendly and professional desk help, very reasonably prices. Oh, and surprise, surprise, the desk help was so-called "scary" Mary. We like antique, a bit funky but not dirty or uncool places, this was like Hotel Oregon in McMinnville by McMenamins, so if you like something like that, this is the place. We would definitely stay here... More
