The inn was a great place to stay--clean, comfortable, by the water, a few blocks away from the ferry dock in Port Townsend, downtown area, and a Safeway. Stayed here 2 nights recently. Was given a nonsmoking room that smelled of smoke. When we complained, the front desk gave us an aerosol of Fabreeze to clean out the odor. Nice location, but it really overlooks a street that overlooks the harbor....THe internet was not working and we were given misinformation about where we might find free internet, the folks at the desk were unfriendly ...one began a conversation with someone else in the midst of our check in and as a result gave us a key she had forgotten... more

I have stayed at Harborside Inn three times and been very happy each time. I live nearby, but have come to rely on Harborside when I need a comfortable homey local place to stay (painting my bedroom, power outage, lots of relatives visting). Stayed 2 nights Sept 8 & 9th, good value, basic hotel room. Comfortable beds, nice pool and hot tub. Staff was great, they even let us stay late in the hot tub. Breakfast was a bonus, lots to eat and fresh! Would definetely stay again, book ahead if you want the boat festival! more
