Manresa Castle is wonderful little hotel, with its old victorian charm and history, this is definitely the place to stay in Port Townsend! When we first arrived here, it was a cloudy day, and that made this beautiful castle stand out. Its charm definitely pulled us towards this hotel, who wouldn't wan to stay a night in a castle? It... We stayed here for 2 days to geocache in Port Townsend. First of all, if you need modern plumbing, dependable internet, and amenities, this is not the place for you. If you want a clean, charming room in an amazing mini castle it's perfect. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I like taking the stairs but asked for a... More

A friend and I were on a business trip in Seattle and had a day off so we decided to check out Manresa Castle. It was a bit of a drive but we had nothing but time. The staff was friendly and accommodating when we checked in. We were able to attend a dinner theater that the hotel was having... More

We and another couple stayed in the tower suite which has two bedrooms and a bathroom. Even after we paid our dog fees, we couldn't have stayed in anything comparable for less. And what a charming piece of Pt. Townsend history!

We just returned from our three day stay at the Manresa Castle. It was a lot of fun as long as you know going in that you're staying in an older hotel without all the modern conveniences - but that's why we stayed there! I was hoping for ghosts but I think the couple on offer are made up. Oh... More

It you like to stay somewhere that is out of the ordinary, this is the place. Be ready to step back into history here. Some could call it old and run down, but I call it unique and different. The rooms are old and small, but everything you need works just fine. The stairs and floor boards creak when you... More

Manresa castle sounds and looks stunning from reviews and pictures. But don't be fooled. The rooms are dirty and there are no amenities. When we pulled in to the parking lot there was 1 other car there. Sure it was February but there should at least be multiple workers. The front desk women had to come up to our room(... More

This isn't a modern hotel, but it has real charm at a time when that's increasingly rare and the rooms are perfectly comfortable. The prices aren't excessive for what you get. If you go to Port Townsend, you're probably interested in historic buildings, and this hotel certainly is one.

Hate to share bad news about our stay but hope this review is helpful for people looking to stay here and also management! We stayed here one night August 2nd and were part of a group of 9 cyclists. It is a lovely property that our group has stayed at in the past. We were told by front desk clerk... More

We stopped in here to treat our 5 year old princess to a night in a "castle" and for the price of admission and her reactions - it was worth it. Unfortunately without a little princess of your own I think you could spend far less and get far more. Come here for dinner and explore what you can -... More
