We just returned from our three day stay at the Manresa Castle. It was a lot of fun as long as you know going in that you're staying in an older hotel without all the modern conveniences - but that's why we stayed there! I was hoping for ghosts but I think the couple on offer are made up. Oh... More

It you like to stay somewhere that is out of the ordinary, this is the place. Be ready to step back into history here. Some could call it old and run down, but I call it unique and different. The rooms are old and small, but everything you need works just fine. The stairs and floor boards creak when you... More

Manresa castle sounds and looks stunning from reviews and pictures. But don't be fooled. The rooms are dirty and there are no amenities. When we pulled in to the parking lot there was 1 other car there. Sure it was February but there should at least be multiple workers. The front desk women had to come up to our room(... More

This isn't a modern hotel, but it has real charm at a time when that's increasingly rare and the rooms are perfectly comfortable. The prices aren't excessive for what you get. If you go to Port Townsend, you're probably interested in historic buildings, and this hotel certainly is one.

Hate to share bad news about our stay but hope this review is helpful for people looking to stay here and also management! We stayed here one night August 2nd and were part of a group of 9 cyclists. It is a lovely property that our group has stayed at in the past. We were told by front desk clerk... More

We stopped in here to treat our 5 year old princess to a night in a "castle" and for the price of admission and her reactions - it was worth it. Unfortunately without a little princess of your own I think you could spend far less and get far more. Come here for dinner and explore what you can -... More

I like this place. It's not a 4 star hotel mind you it's a 130 year old building. Its creaky, imperfect and well just cool. I love old buildings and this one is just something you should go see. It was comfortable. We had a really old TV which my kids laughed about, but who cares.... we weren't there for... More

We really enjoyed our stay here at this hotel. Victorian romantic feel. Awesome to have a lounge right in the hotel-very wonderful bartender. The rooms were awesome and very clean. Really enjoyed the breakfast brunch they had on sunday and it was fabulous. I had the Seafood omelet and my husband the standard eggs, toast, potatoes and bacon..Yum .It was... More

The hotel itself was beautiful, and a step back in time. You know as a hotel, I cannot fault it too much as I should know what I am getting into staying in a 130 year old building. But with that being said, I would have liked for the bedding to be much more comfortable than it was. The headboard... More

We spent two nights recently. Room was so cute and clean, loved the closet. Bathroom is small but adequate. View was awesome Note they may want to ditch the big vanity and a get a pedestal sink to add more room and character in the bathroom. Staff was very friendly and offered to take us up in the elevator to... More
