My boyfriend and I are used to staying at run-of-the-mill hotels while on vacation (and still feeling quite comfortable:), yet decided to treat ourselves last night at the Manresa Castle. We stayed in the tower suite (room 302). After tax, the room ran about $230. The room was beautiful! Unfortunately, the staff was so-so, not exactly the friendliest people I've... more

The hotel honored our AARP card with a 10% discount. The windows needed cleaning, especially since we paid extra for the view. Staff could have been friendlier. The continental breakfast was average. No bathtub, but the bathroom was clean. more

Manresa Castle is highly overrated. The staff is surly, the rooms are filthy, and breakfast is a joke. For the prices they charge they could buy a vacuum or two and actually use them once in awhile. We've stayed in third world countries that have better amenities. more

This is over rated! Not only is everything small, which should probably be expected in facility this old, but the staff are a bunch of grumps. What happened to customer service? more

We stayed at Manresa Castle for one night after attending the Lavender Festival in Sequim. The gal who helped with check-in was pleasant and we were directed to our room within 3 minutes of walking through the front door. Our room on the 3rd floor was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. It was a bit warm, but there... more

Well, we should have paid more attention to tripadvisor before booking this one. Others have written exactly what we encountered; the hurry-up and grab your credit card charge before you even get to the room; the dirty room condition; the hair in the bedding, and the lousy attitude of the staff. What's so frustrating is that this place really does... more

When we checked in the staff was very helpful and accommodating, she even took us up in the elevator since our luggage was so heavy. Our room was very lovely and we absolutely loved it. The room was clean and the view was beautiful. We had a great time there and we hope to go back soon! more

The first time we stayed at the Castle Lou Gossett, Jr. was there with his sons fishing in the area. He was a very nice man and is as tall in real life as he appears in the movies. He did not seen to mind talking to people and was very polite to all. Acording to the locals he has... more

We spent one night. There really never was a greeting by the nearly hostile, ungroomed and sweatshirt (TORN) wearing receptionist and no cheer to her or the place. The rooms were tiny, dusty and moldy above the shower. It had been years since the light fixtures were dusted. The "continental breakfast" was shameful in a dark basement room with zero... more

My boyfriend and I visited the Manresa Castle for his birthday. The staff was rude while I was making a reservation and while checking in (she didn't even bother to give us directions to our room). I paid lots of extra money for the Jacuzzi room. When we got to our room it was very spacious and very well decorated.... more
