The desk attendant couldn't have been more helpful here. We chose a room on the 2nd floor, then after a walk retired to read and sleep.... Unfortunately, the headboard of our bed was immediately adjacent to the headboard of the bed in the room behind us. ( at least, that is what we surmise) Soon, we heard a VERY loud... More

We stayed to watch the Acedemy Awards because we don't have a TV. The management gave us a lovely bottle of Washington State Champagne to celebrate.........beautiful amenities........but the cottage was quite small.......I think the rooms in the hotel proper are very roomy and plush. A nice break.......

nice and tidy room, great location (walked to a wonderful restaurant for breakfast), exceptioanl service from Paula at the front desk who gave us the rundown on shopping, very comfortable room was clean and had everything we needed. not a chain, so that was refreshing! would definitely stay there again but would upgrade to a room with a view of... None of the cottages were available, but staying in a room on the second floor was terrific! Paula was on duty at the desk and couldn't have been more helpful. She researched thrift shops for us, helped us locate them on maps, had great suggestions for where to eat meals!! And, there were free DVDs to borrow AND microwave popcorn... More

We brought our group to Port Townsend for a three-day meeting and pretty much took over the hotel for the duration. The staff, and particularly the event planner we worked with, could not have been more helpful, patient and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the area was very quiet at night. The views from the penthouse were... More

This was our third trip to Port Townsend and our first time at The Swan. It was fantastic!! They had a special offer and we received a bottle of wine, two theatre tickets, and a $40 coupon for supper out. Staff were very welcoming, the room was clean and well equipped. We had view of the Marina and it was... More

We were on a day trip to Port Townsend and stopped into the hotel to check out the cottages. Needless to say we fell love with them. We told the person at the front desk we will be back to say in the cottages soon. As it turn out we decieded to stay that night, the cottages are so cozy... More

In summer, you'd feel lucky to have a room so close to the cute main strip of Port Townsend. In the gray, wet winter, $89 is too much for a room with views of a concrete wall and a soggy marina. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, there was hot water, but the parking lot was barely graded, the... More

This hotel is at the water's edge and the view is perfect. It is also within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The room rates are reasonable, and the hotel is in great shape - neat, modern and clean. Lots of local information and use of a computer is provided in the office. Looking forward to coming back again, maybe... More

My husband and I were there for a wedding at the museum next door and the hospitality was excellent! Great location and extra cozy rooms. Highly recommend it! Great for groups of people to book the whole thing, too (like we did)
