There's nothing fancy about this hotel, but it's a nice place to stay. We've visited twice now and have had a great experience both times. Although it's a simple hotel -- no big reception area, grand lobby, meeting rooms, or anything else -- it's many many steps above a typical motel or budget chain hotel. Nice location on the waterfront,... More

We stayed in cottage 3 for a few days recently. With a few exceptions, we thought it was very nice. The cottage was cute, well supplied, quiet, and close to downtown. We arrived late, and had to pick up our key from the hotel near by. There was no one there, even though we looked all around (and two other... More

When my wife "hid" her laptop so well that we though it might have been stolen, the whole staff including the manager, Kevin, turned out on Superbowl Sunday to help us resolve the problem (it was behind the fridge). Delightful room( #7) over looking Point Hudson Marina. We'll be back.

Our small software company held our annual meeting here in mid-January. We've been holding this meeting in various locations for about 10 years, and this was voted the best location ever! We rented the Penthouse Suite, all four second floor rooms, two first floor rooms and one cottage. The huge dining table worked great for eight people with their laptops,... More

The Swan Hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. It is conveniently located across the street from the Point Hudson Marina and the Northwest Maritime Center; a few blocks from the downtown shops. There is nothing particularly special about the hotel other than the qualities previously mentioned. That was all we needed on this stay and recommend... More

This is a delightful boutique hotel right at the foot of the main street in the historic part of town, and overlooks the harbour. We had the penthouse suite and the views were fabulous. The suite was very spacious and comfortable, and we felt so relaxed staying there. As an added bonus, it was decorated for Christmas with its own... More

Many of the older Port Townsend hotels are on the main street of town and from a time gone by are on the second floor. Nice touches with coffee, hot cider and popcorn in the main office. Great place to stay when you're in area. The hotel has a relationship with the gym across the street. Pro: more involved than... More

We just spent our fifth (or sixth?) New Years at the Swan. We made our reservations for this year when we were there last year, and made our reservations for next year, when we checked in. A-6 is our favorite room, even though it overlooks the parking lot. (There are Marina and Mt Baker views, from the rooms on the... More

Swan Lake Hotel staff were friendly. Cottage #2 was clean and well appointed to meet all modern needs. Well located downtown on Water street and the marina. We're frequent travelers and we really enjoyed our stay in large part due to the Swan experience. We'll be staying at Swan Hotel again when return to Port Townsend.
