We stayed one night here recently. Our room was on the 3rd floor which was a steep climb up 2 flights of narrow stairs. But there were handrails. The place is unique. Victorian style furniture etc. It had a musty old smell. But the rooms were clean and the staff most friendly and helpful. Our room consisted of 2 bedrooms... More

Room attractive- like an old fashioned apartment. Smelled dreadful. Like Vomit. Disgusted. but everywhere else sold out so not a way to get another room. Seagull poop in this town incredibly bad - not the hotel's fault but anywhere you park in town- expect to have a decorated vehicle - which explains the car wash/detail service on the way out... The room on the first floor was a nice size with two queen beds and a front room with a daybed. The room was clean enough but for the price, we would have expected a hot gourmet breakfast. No complaints really except that we felt the value was wanting since we have paid about the same and received much more... More

We spent a night in their king suite. I can't wait to come back for another stay. They had great linens and robes. A breakfast basket is deliver to your door at either 7ish or 9 am. This is perfectly located for walking downtown, going to a movie at the Rose or walking the shoreline. Loved it!

We spent two nights at the Bishop this summer; it was our 6th stay in the hotel. We can't imagine staying anywhere else in Port Townsend. The location is ideal - in a quiet part of town and within walking distance to all our favorite PT spots. [We stayed at the Swan last summer, just for a change. But this... More

We spent 2 Nights at the Bishop what a wonderful place to stay and with so much character. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with screen door out to beautiful private garden. On the first night on dusk we look out and there where two young deer in the garden which was a... More

We just spent the night in room 18 on the top floor of the Bishop Victorian. This was a lovely stay. The room is a suite with a large living-dining area including a mini-kitchen. The separate bedroom was very large with lots of space around the very, very comfortable king sized bed. The adjoining bathroom was modern, clean & with... More

The room was a suite (two rooms), the bed was very, very comfortable, and the bath was clean and modern. The location is great (walk to everything), and it was quiet at night. I suspect Port Townsend is always quiet at night... the sidewalks roll up by 10 p.m. The only complaints are the hike uphill to the third floor... More

We just returned from two nights at the Bishop Victorian. We had room 17, which is on the second floor, up one rather steep flight of stairs. (No, folks, they didn't have elevators in Victorian Port Townsend. Get used to it.) They do have a couple of rooms on the ground floor if you can't handle stairs, but call early... More

We just spent 4 nights here for our 30th wedding anniversary. It is a lovely old hotel, comfortable, and quiet. Friendly and helpful hosts. A basket with your breakfast choices appears outside your door every morning. It is very Victorian, so if you're after modern, and crisp this is not the place.
