The hotel was great. Although old, updated fixtures were wonderful. There was always coffee available and the staff was attentive. The Fountain Cafe up the street is nationally known, fit for foodies, carnivores and vegetarians. You can walk everywhere from the Bishop. I travelled with my two adult brothers and one of the two bedroom units with a hide-a-bed in the... More

Loved Port Townsend. Nice shops and eateries, Very clean and quiet spot. The hotel has been kept up very well, older furnishings and decor, but clean and working. We had a nice little sitting area with a partial view of the water. Separate bedroom with a comfy queen bed. Did not seem to have air conditioning but a nice breeze... More

We really enjoyed our three days at the Bishop Victorian Hotel in Port Townsend. Yes-it is a very old building but that is what is so great about it. Nice large room with a separate bedroom so there was plenty of space to spread out! Staff was very nice and helpful. We did not participate in the breakfast to your... More

I had stayed here once before and was happy to bring my husband back for a couples getaway. He says "it was really sweet", and from the romantic reception area to the charming rooms, it is a real treat! You may select items to be delivered by basket to your door for breakfast. Microwave popcorn is provided if you are... More

Our room was lovely. We stayed on the 3rd floor #18 and it was clean, quiet and the bed comfortable. Coffee, tea and apples available just steps from our room 24 hrs. a day. Folks who worked there was friendly and the place was super quiet. YAY! All good.

We spent the weekend at the Bishop and found it to be charming. It may not have the amenities of a modern hotel, but the hosts are personable, the room comfortable, and the breakfast basket a great idea. We did not mind the stairs, but they are steep to the 3rd floor, and some may not be in shape for... More

This very old Victorian hotel needs to be refurbished, especially the stairs on the carpeting going up to the 3 rd floor. The hotel had no elevator and very long staircases so if you can't carry heavy luggage upstairs stay on the first floor or somewhere else. The location is excellent and the people at the front desk are very... More

Another happy experience at the Bishop. Stayed for one night after visiting the Lavender Festival in Sequim. Well located if you are walking Port Townsend, close to the Marina and just one block off the main street and all the shops and restaurants there. There is parking onsite if you drive, but we walked everywhere during our stay. As has... More

We booked the Bishop the day of our stay. With a family of 5, they were very helpful putting a room together for us. When we arrived, the roll-away bed was already in the room. My husband commented several times on how clean the hotel was. The kids (11-15) loved the Bishop. They said it was the "best ever" hotel.... More

The lobby is very inviting and the desk staff very friendly. Our spacious room had a lovely decor that made you feel like you were staying at Grandma's house. The bed was very comfortable and we woke to our delightful breakfast delivered in a basket to our door. Other small treats were strategically dishes of candy and popcorn and movies... More
