My husband & I arrived in Port Townsend with no reservations but checked into the Bishop Hotel with no problems. We spent our time exploring the town by car & on foot. We had nice dinner at The Public House & Grill on the main street. It is wonderful to see the older buildings from our past in Port Townsend... more

I loved this place. The welcome was warm and information helpful, the room was huge and well-furnished with nice little touches - including a jacuzzi bath. Parking right next to the hotel with no charge and a great location for walking out to see the town were both plusses. It was on the expensive side for just an unscheduled overnight... more

We had to climb 2 flights of stairs but the hotel and room we had was nice overall, especially for this small city. Also, it was really hot on the night we were there (no breeze) so we had to leave the windows open so it made for a noisy night as we could hear cars and people go by.... more

This was a perfect place to stay for our one night in Port Townsend. We wanted a suite so our toddler could go to bed early in a separate room (ha!) and a small kitchenette. The bedroom was tiny, but was adequate for the queen bed plus our pack-n-play. The front room was very roomy and the kitchenette had all... more

This is our fourth overnight visit to PT in 2 years and three of those have been at the Bishop. We love the Victorian style and it's central location to downtown. There is always coffee, tea and a bowl of fruit availble. The rooms are clean and I enjoy having the tv in the other room instead of the bedroom.... more

We were in Port Townsend in Nov. '08 without a hotel reservation and we decided to stay. We simply wanted to park the car and walk thru a quaint town to shop and dine. THIS was the perfect place! We generally avoid "Victorian" hotels, bed & breakfasts, and such. However, this particular Victorian was absolutely LOVELY. We hesitated because of... more

Stayed here for two nights in July 2008. The owners were friendly, personable. The showers were nice and high, didn't have to duck. The rooms were clean, big, most come with kitchenette. All in all a great place to stay. more

This hotel is in an old, late 1800's brick buildiing, with Victorian style decor. It was not my number one choice and based on some of the other Tripadvisor reviews, I was a litlle worried about staying here but it turned out to be fine. We ended up staying in room #17. It was clean, had a little mini fridge... more

We were forced to leave our hotel (The Swan) for one night and were booked into their sister hotel - The Bishop - due to our hesitancy in booking for multiple nights at one hotel. The Bishop is also well located downtown with excellent parking - a problem in Port Townsend. The room was on the top floor with a... more
