I came here to work in a quiet setting as well as enjoy the rich history of this house and the town of Port Townsend. I succeeded at both. The house is well maintained inside and out. The innkeepers Cindy and Nathan were gracious and clearly have a passion for the history of the house and the service they provide... More

The coffee & espresso machine in the solarium off the elegant dining room was glorious. Looking out over the water from one of two porch swings before breakfast, the carefully considered breakfast menus and the lovely, comfortable room all made this a place I would recommend without hesitation to good friends. The staff was pitch perfect, and the innkeepers, Cindy... More

We stayed two nights here in early June. The property is impeccably kept, with beautiful detail given to the placement of each antique piece in the 125 year old home. Being there is like living in a museum. Cindy greeted us cordially, dressed in Victorian period costume. She gave us a tour of the inn with plenty of detailed information.... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our weekend stay at the Old Consulate Inn. The inn was charming with wonderful period décor. The owner took excellent care of us, and the food was wonderful! It was a great way to start the day. We stayed in the tower suite. The views from the turret were beautiful! I loved the claw... More

This was the most unique and friendly place to stay. The hosts were especially obliging having thought of every detail to make for an enjoyable bed and breakfast experience. The location also turned out to be excellent. What a terrific find; we highly recommend the Old Consulate Inn and wish Cindy and Nathan all the best in their future endeavours.

A huge thanks to Cindy, the owner of the Old Consulate Inn. Hospitality, graciousness and a true wonder; the Old Consulate Inn is the best bed and breakfast that my wife and I have experienced! Nice rooms and grounds, water views and breakfast! Next time we are in PT we will stay there again. Greg & Kristen Cashmere, WA

Our two night stay over Memorial Day weekend was wonderful. Cindy and Nathan were warm hosts, our room was comfortable in every way, and the inn had so many amenities. The espresso maker in the dining area was great (and available all the time for coffee, tea, etc). The breakfasts were feasts- three courses of mouthwatering, artfully served and oh-so-delicious... My wife and I spent two nights at the Old Consulate Inn. Each morning the breakfast was amazing. Cindy and Nathan are great hosts and they have the grounds around the Inn landscaped beautifully. My wife and I enjoyed the swing on the portch, watching the boats in the harbor. A great place to stay, we will be back!!!

Judith and I traveled to Port Townsend to visit family and get away from our routines. Little did we suspect that we would actually find our way back to a simpler, calmer and restful way of life by traveling across the country to the Old Consulate Inn. The beautiful originally maintained Victorian house replete with antiques, old photos, colorful gardens and... More
