Quiet, comfortable, and filled with Victorian antiques. Everywhere you look there is something interesting to look at. Breakfast was excellent and we met very nice people eating around the large dining table. There is a view of the water. Best of all the beds are comfortable and there is plenty of hot water! Cindy has paid great attention to detail... More

Okay, so it took me awhile to get this up. February of this year (right around Valentine's day), I came up to the Old Consulate Inn with my husband, my brother in law and my sister in law. We could only stay two days but those were the best two days I could have asked for. First of all, the... More

I may not be as seasoned a B&B customer as some, but this was definitely a most enjoyable stay. Wish it had been for more than one night. Cindy & Nathan were gracious and most accommodating, don't forget to try out the porch swing

My only regret is that we didn't plan our trip to stay longer. This B & B is in a Victorian house that is full of antiques and details that made us feel like we had stepped back in time. Beautiful view, fabulous breakfasts, comfortable rooms, gracious hosts.

I simply can't say enough about our stay at the Old Consulate Inn. We had never been to Port Townsend and really didn't know what to expect. The property was just beautiful and the views from up on the hill are breathtaking. Cindy and Nathan were wonderful hosts and breakfast each morning was really a special event (even with our... More

This was a nice experience. Food and lodging were excellent. You might want to book early and get a room near the ground floor if you have trouble with stairs. The upper rooms are three stories up a lot of stairs and are also hot in the summer with no air conditioning. The lack of a TV was a plus... More

The owner greeted us in Victorian garb. Since I am a huge fan of Murdoch Mysteries, felt like I was stepping back in time. Very steep flight of stairs to out room. We had the turret room at the top with 180 degree view of the grounds and Port Townsend Bay. Some rooms had showers, but ours had a claw... More

We stayed only one night in this beautiful old Victorian house in Port Townsend. We appreciated the Inn Keeper's attention to historic detail and the nice comfort of the room. Breakfast was delicious, too. It was served at a big dining table to all guests present, resulting in a fun family-style meal.

Having grown up in Port Townsend, and actually run a B&B myself, I was pretty excited to be staying at the Hastings house, now known as the Old Consulate Inn. The house is beautiful, the beds comfortable, the service gracious and breakfasts a foodie would laud. Highly recommended! Great location just uptown on the bluff.

The Old Consulate Inn is a gem in Port Townsend - and anywhere, for that matter! The Inn is impeccably maintained, charming, and very comfortable. Each room is unique and tastefully decorated. Cindy and Nathan go out of their way to welcome and serve their guests with pleasure, kindness, local suggestions, and gourmet breakfasts. They represent the true meaning of... More
