My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon here and are so glad we did. Such a beautiful and comfortable place- it embodies your highest expectations when you think B & B. The decor and grounds are real Victorian to the core. Many thanks. We'll return! The owners are fun and helpful.

My husband and I just stayed Friday and Saturday. The house is a true 125 year old beauty. We stayed in the master suite king size canopy bed was exceptionally comfy, the room was very spacious, with a claw foot tub as well as a separate shower. The inn keepers Nathan and Cindy were extremely nice and was extremely knowledgeable... More

We live in Seattle and enjoy as many getaways as we can to Port Townsend. We try different accommodations when we go to Port Townsend, but after our stay at the Old Consulate Inn we believe our search for the perfect place has ended. Incredibly authentic Victorian with attention to every detail. Extremely comfortable, clean and friendly! Our breakfast was... More

Now we are retired we enjoy travelling a lot, especially driving down around the Hood Canal, over to Whidbey Island and home to Vancouver, B.C. This was our first overnight in Port Townsend and an excellent decision. The Old Consulate Inn is more than anything I've read in these reviews or that I can write. If you want to experience... We stayed here February 27th & 28th. We lucked into the annual murder mystery night (highly recommended! It is not at all a board game, this is the full-on dress-up version. Very fun). You could not ask for for engaging and accommodating hosts. I am lactose intolerant and Cindy and her staff had no problem coming up with breakfasts I... More

We had a terrific time and enjoyed the hospitality of Cindy and Nathan. My daughter and I stayed in the Rose Suite and loved the claw foot tub. The property was very clean and comfortable. Not suitable for young children due to the amount of antiques. Very good wifi and the breakfast was superb. I appreciated the espresso maker and... More

Enjoyed this B&B. Wonderful hosts, good room, nice view of water and deer on ridge. Good breakfast and great coffee. Nice game room downstairs with pool table, game table, books to read. Especially liked the fact that there are no t.v.'s, phones, radios. Peaceful! The adjacent "clock tower" that bongs every 1/2 hour was not a problem. Really couldn't hear... More

Hands down my favorite place to stay in Port Townsend. The breakfasts are culinary masterpieces, and if you feel up for a post-meal stroll, you're apt to encounter the deer which graze in the field across the way. The little lighthouse on the bluff is bound to put you in the spirit of Longfellow or Frost --- like you've stepped... More

My husband and I spent three wonderful days here during our recent honeymoon and it was, by far, our favorite. Set on top of a hill with a beautiful view of the bay, the Old Consulate embodies the same spirit of elegance, warmth, and old world charm as Port Townsend itself does. Cindy and Nathan go above and beyond to... More

An inn with a Victorian theme could easily slip over the top, but Cindy and Nathan manage to make it feel homey and welcoming. The only thing over the top is the breakfasts ..... three courses of deliciousness. Beautiful and interesting furnishings, little baskets of chocolate truffles on your doorknob each night, a comfortable bed all in an interesting village;... More
