We stayed there over the Thanksgiving weekend. The hotel is charming, Victorian style decor. The hotel staff are lovely, very friendly and provided excellent recommendations to local restaurants, shops and entertainment! Thank you, we will def stay there again.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this beautifully decorated victorian hotel. I absolutely loved the decor, ambiance and history of the place! Each room is a little different with unique light fixtures, exposed brick and quirky, charming accents. Don't expect a ton of modern conveniences like an elevator or ipod docks, alarm clock etc... if these things... More

We stayed 2 nights in room #4 Miss Claires room. The room was amazing. Decorated with furniture to suite the buildings age. Comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower. A view of the heritage building next door and peek-a-boo view of the main drag (Water St.) It was quaint and romantic. I wanted to live there forever. Of... More

I'm glad our daughter had recommended this wonderful hotel to us when visiting Port Townsend. It was like stepping back into the 1900's and our room - Room 3 - Marie's Suite - was large, airy and comfortable with windows overlooking the main and a side street. The only reason I have not marked the hotel as "Excellent" is that... More

My wife had a super-duper birthday celebration surrounded by family. We enjoyed the hospitality of the front desk staff. Our grandchildren seemed to feel right at home as they played and explored. Our room was just right for our needs. The decor was charming, reminiscent of a bygone era.

W specifically visited Port Townsend to experience their incredible Historic District. The Palace Hotel looked great online, plus they were offering an off-season special of 2 nights for the price of 1. My sister and I were so excited and pleased by the accommodations that we decided to stay for another 2 nights. And then another! Because we stayed on... More

This hotel was recommended to us by someone who stayed & enjoyed the history behind it. We stayed 2 nights & enjoyed the experience. The rooms are named after the various "ladies of the night" and we stayed in #11 - Miss Kitty's room. It is on the 3rd floor - a corner room with views of the downtown &... More

Stayed at the Palace hotel on a Friday and Saturday night. There was a broken rocking chair in the room and the chaise lounge had stains all over it. The rest of the room was good..... lots of room and other than the lounger, quite clean. Bed was large and comfortable with lots of pillows. Bathroom was nice with a... More

...At least, I think they were negotiable. The desk clerk was auctioning off rooms to those of us who'd not made prior reservations elsewhere. We got a better price than through one of the travel services. The room was notable for a ghost who apparently had better things to do that night than bother us. The huge bed was extremely... More

Stayed with my adult daughter during a weekend event at Fort Worden (about 10 minutes by car away). We had a two bedroom room at the front of the hotel with an ensuite bathroom. Both two bedroom rooms and ensuites can be tricky to find in the historic hotels of Port Townsend. Overall a very nice stay and I did... More
