This hotel has nice beds. The rooms are quite dark with small windows and are accessed only by a very narrow steep corridor. They work fine if you won't be spending time in your room. I stayed for one night while on a business trip. I called again to book a year later and due to the loose structure of... More

My friend and I started our tour of the Pacific Northwest with a quick stay in Port Townsend at the Washington Hotel. We were reserved in room 1 but the owner left a note on the door switching us to room 4 which was larger. There were no other guests the two nights we stayed there, happy for us but... More

We stayed here as a family of four, with two young children, for one night we spent in Port Townsend. The room (number 2) was great: very nicely appointed, very clean, and very spacious. My oldest child, who's eight, was initially skeptical given the lack of the traditional lobby and amenities when we first walked in to the building but... More

This place is great! I stayed here with a friend for a writing conference. We were in suite 4 which had 2 separate bedrooms and a sitting room with a daybed and a small fridge. The rooms a lovely and are a nice alternative if you don't want to be knee-deep in the Victorian style that is pervasive in Port... More

My cousin and I stayed in Suite 1. It was perfect for us because we each had our own privacy. Very nicely decorated place with special touches like classical music playing from the stereo when we walked in. The location is also great.

Stayed over the weekend with 4 friends on a girls trip 40th birthday celebration. The building is historical, very quaint. We stayed in room 4 which was spacious for the 5 of us with nice little amenities such as a mini fridge, coffee maker and fixings, wine glasses, etc. Marilou was a great host. Friendly and helpful from the reservation... More

My friend and I, with three teenage sons between us, were looking for a good place to stay that wasn't "antiques and doilies". The Washington Hotel is perfect! The rooms are modern, attractive, comfortable, and super clean. The location is great - in the heart of town so one can walk anywhere. When I phoned to make reservations, I liked... More

When showing the other rooms to your group, the boys were very polite and told me it was a "Cool" place to stay. I'm glad they enjoyed it too! Thank you so... More

We stayed in the Studio for 2 nights - had everything we needed - nicely decorated, great location, good price. Marilou was very prompt in responding to our initial enquiry and provided very clear directions - and when we met her in person, she was great - so service oriented and friendly. Looked at larger suites too - they'd be... More

Hello! It was great to meet you and show you the entire hotel. I have families that rent the entire place out for a night and just love it. They treat it like it is their own place. The young children like the fact they can go from room to room to visit relatives. The location makes it perfect for... More

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Washington Hotel in room #2. Hi Jenny! The review you wrote is wonderful! Yes, guests are really liking the key-less operation for entry. When you called and said you were two couples, I knew Suite #4 would be perfect for you.
