My husband and I recently stayed at Mrs. Howe’s Bed and Breakfast in Port Orchard, Washington. It was our first B&B experience, and it was delightful! Upon our arrival, the air was cold and crisp outside, yet the doors of the B&B opened to a warm and cozy home. The owner/innkeeper, Lorraine Olsen, was a very welcoming, hospitable hostess and made our visit a pleasurable treat. The historic home, built by the Howe family in 1923, radiated with charm and provided a picturesque view of the sound. Breakfast around the antique table was incredibly satisfying, thanks to the innkeeper. Mrs. Howe’s B&B was a memorable getaway for us and has paved the way to future B&B experiences, including a return visit to Mrs. Howe’s. We were very pleased with the accommodations and highly recommend Mrs. Howe’s. more
