I got to direct feeling that the owners thought we were paying intruders. The house needs a good cleaning! The "breakfast" was late and NOT fresh. A huge disappointment! The Cedar Cove inn is so far superior in every way, and I was happy we were able to secure a room there and leave this nasty place!

We went for one night and had a great time. The house is nicely decorated and has some great features. This place is a labour of love for the owner. It can sleep up to 22 people. It has a large dining room and kitchen and suitable for a special event with friends or family. The master bath has a... More

The owner called me the night before we were to arrive and cancelled the reservations. No explanation...... Rude and not willing to help us in any way. I found last minute rooms for our two couples at Reflections B&B with Cathy Hall. She is a sweetheart and we had a wonderful stay. We walked past Hidden Treasures and it was... More

Recently some friends of ours generously gave us a Groupon for a one night stay at this hotel. Even though it was free, we found ourselves rather disappointed. We had very similar experiences to other reviewers and I am amazed they are not making changes after all the bad reviews. We spoke to one of the friendly owners over the... More

Our experience is the same and the people just below us..Something must have happend between July and August and now March of 2012.. no one to greet us...never saw anyone. No breakfast, no coffee even. Our room did not look like the pictures even...just where were the curtains? I would have loved to draw the drape to block out the... More

We felt like the house was abandoned and we were intruders. No one was there when we arrived and we didn't know what room was ours. The kitchen unkempt and dirty dishes accumulated during our stay. The kitchen is part of the sitting area and very visible. The "continental breakfast' was late and stale. (There is a wonderful bakery downtown... More

This place is a bed and breakfast set up in a historic house that used to be the home of the town treasurer. The house even has a walk-in safe where all of the records used to be kept. The house itself is a good mix of antique and modern decor. Enough vintage things to make it feel quaint, but... More
