We had a room rented from August 9th to the 11th. We called the hotel at 830 pm to say we would be late because we were just leaving Mt. St. Helen's. The woman from the hotel said that was fine. When we arrived the front door was locked, we continuously rang the door bell over the course of the... More

We arrived after dinner without reservations and were offered a very nice room with two queen beds, #6. The people in the office were very cordial and accommodating and made us feel at home. Apparently the inn is under new ownership and it shows. The room was very clean as was the bathroom; the beds were comfortable. Recommended!

While this hotel is located very close to Mt. Rainier, it was the most disgusting hotel ever. Cigarette burns on the floor, stains (LARGE) on the carpet, yellowed pillows, and mattresses that sagged so badly that we rolled into each other all night. Did I mention bed bugs? The employees were nice, but not helpful. We actually checked out early... More

Ok, I got upgraded to a double and only charged $100 the single rate. But wait the non smoking room had a cigaret burn in the fibreglass bathtub. There was a scorch mark on the carpet from a hot iron. But the truly gross thing was the blood stained towel. If the blood won't come out after washing don't put... More

A friend and I were traveling and needed a place to stay while visiting Rainier National Park. We stayed here and the woman at the desk was very nice and accommodated our needs. It was just what we needed, a comfy bed and a hot shower. Thanks again!!

The clerk was real friendly and accommodating, a plus. Rooms were full of flies, door weather stripping made a loud crack as you went in and out, and chairs outside were coming un-nailed. Fridge and microwave were the smallest models. It was quiet for being so close to highway 12 and a grocery store is right next door. There are... More

When I booked this room, I was a little concerned because of the other reviews. When I got there I was relieved to find out that it was tidy and had friendly desk service. Our room was a little musty when we arrived, but aired out quickly. While not fancy, the hotel met our needs. The hotel itself is within... More

We chose this hotel as it was close to a place to eat (few and far between). This place is horrible and overpriced! I have stayed in older motels but this place was down right dirty! My feet were black from the carpeting, there was HAIR in the beds. they had Costco soap buckets outside for cigarette butts! Definitely a... More

We stayed at the Packwood Inn last August for 2 nights during a hiking trip to Mt. Rainier. When we first got into the room it was full of flies. Our door was right across from a dumpster at the neighboring restaurant and I suspect they got in during cleaning. We killed them all but the next day after returning... More

Packwood Inn is next door to the grocery store and a pizza place, and across the street from a bar. We stayed one night in the smallest, least expensive room (#3). The room was clean and stocked with towels, soap, 3 ft tall fridge, and small microwave, and cable tv. The bed was a little hard on our backs but... More
