What a find. From the outside seemingly a typical motel. However once inside the manageress was so friendly at reception and straightaway explained that we were each being offered 2 complimentary glasses of wine that evening! Our room was clean and comfortable and next morning's breakfast was nice and hot!

We stayed here in July 2014. It was a spectacular stay. The hotel staff is exceptional, very friendly, and informational. The hotel is extremely clean! The room looked like it had recently been updated. There was a nice tile entry way and bathroom with a clean tile shower. Bathroom is a little small, but very functional with the vanity outside... I recently spent 6 nights here while hiking on and around Mt. Rainier. It was my second time to MRNP. Last year I stayed in Ashford and found the drives to the best parts of the park for me (Paradise, Sunrise & Chinook Pass) to be too long so I decided to try Packwood this time and it worked well... Located in the middle of nowhere, we were pleasantly surprised. Large clean room with flat screen tv. Desk Clerk Forrest, made us feel right at home was right on with helpful information. Free glasses of wine at night, what a place! Breakfast was good, but tight kitchen/dining area. Really nothing much in town, but proximity to Mount Rainier made this... More

My 2nd time at Crest Trail Lodge. Rooms are clean with a good bed. The WiFi worked fine for e-mail. All the rooms have a small refrigerator and microwave. New this year is keurig coffee makers in the rooms. The breakfast is good, may want to take back to the room. Serving room is small with four tables, or if... More

Packwood is a little town without much selection in lodging or restaurants. The Crest Trail Lodge is clean and cozy with very personable staff. It is right off of Highway 12 at the west entrance to Packwood. Rooms are reasonably appointed and at the better end for a small hotel. The rooms are also reasonably quiet as to road noise... More

We stayed at this hotel by chance last week. We were driving in the evening and were looking for a place to stay, as there is not much to choose from in the area. We found the hotel to be extremely charming. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The couple running the front desk were the sweetest people we met... More

I did not expect much in this one horse town but instead found a small hotel I would also go to in the city... clean, spacious (for 1) room with table, chest, microwave, really cold fridge and a coffee maker, Outside seating available and breakfast was also included (I did not try it as I am vegan, so can't tell).... There is really no other decent place to stay in town. It was just fine for our needs. Mom & Pop run place, but perfectly acceptable. We chose to stay in this town to be close to the Stevens Pass entrance to Mt. Rainier, as the Nisqually entrance may have delays. Breakfast was not replenished, & we were eating at... More

I contacted this hotel on May 3 and filled out their online form requesting information about availability at the end of August when we had to be in Packwood for a niece's wedding. I received an email back saying they would be in touch with me shortly to answer my request. Nothing ever happened. I called them back today and... More
