Close to Mount Rainier, and Family Friendly. Welcoming hosts, they take pride in the lodge and it shows. Exceptionally clean and quiet. Great place to stop after driving and hiking in Mount Rainier with the family. There was a grassy area on the side of hotel with picnic tables, that was back from the road and was nice place for... We stayed three nights here, and found it to be a lovely jumping off point for our visits to Rainier and St. Helens. Room was large and quiet, bed was comfortable, and early one morning, I saw an elk outside my window!

I am aware of the good ratings this Lodge has. I have never spent time in the other places available. We chose it for it's ratings here and on AAA However, this place is not anything to write home about. The breakfast is unimpressive, same old, same old. It is mostly haunted by old people in lieu of camping, which... More

Looked for a hotel on a bike trip to Mt. Rainier N.P. we were lucky to find this place. Very pleasant people at front desk, could have been owners. The rooms were large and clean with microwave and frige. Good breakfast also.

If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, and convenient place to stay the Crest Trail Lodge is a great choice! When I called to book our two night reservation the manager was friendly and gave me great advice for the best route to take given the time of day we were traveling. On the night of our arrival I... This is a minimum accommodation. The building is old and the owner has made some improvements to satisfy 2014 clients. A complimentary glass of wine does not make up for no elevator, only powdered creamer for your coffee, and a shower that barely washes the soap off your body, That being said, it is convenient to Mt. Rainier and if... More

What a find. From the outside seemingly a typical motel. However once inside the manageress was so friendly at reception and straightaway explained that we were each being offered 2 complimentary glasses of wine that evening! Our room was clean and comfortable and next morning's breakfast was nice and hot!

We stayed here in July 2014. It was a spectacular stay. The hotel staff is exceptional, very friendly, and informational. The hotel is extremely clean! The room looked like it had recently been updated. There was a nice tile entry way and bathroom with a clean tile shower. Bathroom is a little small, but very functional with the vanity outside... I recently spent 6 nights here while hiking on and around Mt. Rainier. It was my second time to MRNP. Last year I stayed in Ashford and found the drives to the best parts of the park for me (Paradise, Sunrise & Chinook Pass) to be too long so I decided to try Packwood this time and it worked well... Located in the middle of nowhere, we were pleasantly surprised. Large clean room with flat screen tv. Desk Clerk Forrest, made us feel right at home was right on with helpful information. Free glasses of wine at night, what a place! Breakfast was good, but tight kitchen/dining area. Really nothing much in town, but proximity to Mount Rainier made this... More
