We had dinner at this restaurant and it was one of the best we have every had. The chef is extraordinary; his training and refined taste show in the subtlety and perfection of the food. The ingredients are first quality and local. Sauces, if any, are on the plate instead of drowning the main ingredient. I had delicate, melt in... More

We were invited to Orcas Island to participate in a friend's wedding on Orcas Island. The groom recommended a lovely comfortable in on Ship Bay just a few minutes from Eastsound on Orcas. The restaurant is incredible--most of the produce comes from the on-site garden! The homemade granola at breakfast was the best we've ever tasted! Our room faced the... More

Wonderful location -- we loved sitting out in the back overlooking the Bay, watching the eagles, etc. Invaluable help from Luke about where to go on the Island for hiking and recreation, and he made the great suggestion that we fit in dinner there. Wow - the restaurant was incredible. We would certainly stay there again in a heartbeat.

Lovely setting with warm staff...especially Luke. Incredible views including a couple bald eagles. Dinner was amazing...all with fresh local ingredients and great presentation. I can still taste the seared scallops! Strongly recommend this place.

After check in with Luke, whom was very helpful and nice, we were put in a beautiful upstairs room overlooking the ocean. The room was quaint and they had breakfast waiting for us for the next day. The only thing I would say is if your off season, make sure you don't come on a Sunday evening, because all the... More

This quite little inn offers an amazing view at an amazing rate. The owners great you personally and are very pleasant. They also have a fine dining Resturant that is fresh caught, or even raised right on property. When here ask about the history of the facility. We will be back!

Inn at Ship bay is not only a nice casual little hotel next to the sea, but also a very good restaurant with excellet seafood, good winelist and friendly service. After traveling on the West Coast for a week, this was our best experience, far better than other places we visited from San Fransisco to Napa Valley.

I decided to get away to Orcas for a quick weekend before cooler fall weather hit the Seattle area. The inn is on a lovely spot with a beautiful view. It's only 5 minutes from the town of Eastound if you desire to get off property and whale watch, grab a burger and take a plane ride. The rooms were... More

If you're looking for a charming little place on Orcas that's a five-minute drive from the tiny village of Eastsound, on a lovely bay, with ultra-comfortable accommodations and a gorgeous view from each room, this is it. The owners and staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating; the rooms are good sized, very nicely furnished and impeccably maintained, with big... More

My husband and I chose the Inn as our final destination for our vacation were so glad we did. Every room is a corner room here - and we enjoyed the Western exposure on the bluff overlooking East Sound. Lovely sunsets. The restaurant is absolutely tops - this chef could work anywhere in the world. The Inn grows its own... More
