Very nice B&B, nice room (Dechutes room), music was softly playing in the room upon arrival, bed was very good. Nathan and Chelsea are excellent hosts, do not take the breakfast when you are on a diet :-).... We enjoyed our stay, even if it was 1 night, close to the center. When visiting Olympia the Swantown Inn is a... More

My fiance and I were looking for a destination elopement getaway in Washington state and settled on the Swantown Inn. From what we could tell on the website, it had everything that we needed for our elopement. We contacted Nathan and Casey about coming out there and they provided us with a comprehensive set of documents for what they needed... More

We stayed here over the weekend and loved it! This B&B is a beautiful old home that has been beautifully restored without losing the character of the house. So often when these older homes are restored, the interior is incongruous with the exterior, but this house has been furnished and decorated very tastefully inside and out. When we arrived, Nathan... My wife and I stayed here for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is an old home, so has character and a loveliness that more modern B&Bs lack, but has been modernized so it has all the modern conveniences. Our room even had a hot tub. The hosts are very friendly and provide an abundance of information about... More

Thank you for your kind words, it was a pleasure to host your wife and yourself! For other guests, because of the heat wave we experienced during and after your stay we purchased portable A/C Units for all the rooms to ensure our guests comfort no matter what the temperature outside! We hope to see you again in the future! More

Stayed here for one night of our two week honeymoon and wish we had stayed longer! The house is striking from the outside and the interior decorating is adorable. We stayed in the Astoria room, with a package that included a couples massage at The Attic day spa located on the third floor of the inn. The massage experience was... More

So glad you enjoyed your night with us and all the amenities. Our sheets, mattresses, and dayspa are something special to be certain! Not a day goes by when I guest doesn't comment on how wonderful they are. We are glad you found the same. If you are in the market we actually do sell the sheets, and they are... More

We stayed one night at the Swantown Inn. It's a beautiful old Victorian house set up on a hill that enjoys close proximity to Olympia's downtown. Rooms are decorated in a romantic, Victorian theme. We stayed in the Columbia room. King sized bed (easily the most comfortable I have ever slept on), little love seat and desk. Private bath across... More

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us! Yes the Columbia room's bathroom is a treat just a few steps across the hall, that shower and tub are my favorite in the house by far. There is something to be said for a long, deep cast iron tub. We occasionally do get guests who are confused by our... More

Lovely house very well located in Olympia, gourmet breakfast and very kind innkeepers, always ready to give good advises for restaurants and travel. Oh, and I forgot the delicious cookies in the media's room!

We enjoyed our stay at Swantown Inn, but in comparison to other B & B's that we have stayed at, found that it is nothing special and is somewhat expensive for what you get. The breakfast is like the menu in a wanna be French restaurant where everything sounds fantastic, but the reality is that while good, it isn't great.... More

Sorry you felt we were overpriced. We feel that we are very competitive with other lodging options in town and that a three course breakfast is the cream on the top as most of your options in Olympia offer a continental or Sysco truck delivered food buffet instead of plated hot fresh local food breakfast. Usually the complaint we hear... More

My daughter, who is a student at Evergreen State College, and I stayed at the Swantown Inn recently during evaluation week. We really enjoyed this B&B. The room was very comfortable, the breakfasts delicious, and I appreciated the guest computer since I didn't bring one. The robes are super-comfy and the ever-present chocolate chip cookies yummy. Nathan and Casey are... More

We visited with another couple and found the hosts and property charming. We like this kind of property as we are history buffs. Loved the luxury sheets and comfortable beds. Care has been taken to blend some newer features with the old. Breakfast was great and they were able to help with some dietary restrictions. We wish them luck on... More
