What a lovely treat to stay at this B&B. So many B&B's I have encountered have decorating that is overdone or "kitschy." But this B&B had a very thoughtful and beautifully executed theme of creating a "Georgian" atmosphere. (We had to look up the period--England before Queen Victoria!) We stayed in the Garden room which was lovely and had a... More

This is a place to get away to. It's really true what others say: every wish is anticipated, multiple lovely places allow you to "be" within and outside. I enjoyed the unobtrusive but available clues to what interesting people our hosts are. They didn't just drop out of nowhere to become B and B hosts! We feel lucky to have... More

We were privileged to be guests at this gorgeous Inn. It is nestled in a wonderland of nature scenic splendor that will never be forgotten. The hosts, Linda and Don have raised the bar over all others in the way they attend to every need. Don provides all you need to know about the area, restaurants, places to see, and... More

My wife and I wanted to get away close to home during a long holiday weekend and found The Inn at Mallard Cove on the internet. We had visited the nearby wildlife refuge before and knew it to be a great place to see birds and hike. So we booked an overnight stay. Owners Linda and Don were extremely welcoming... More

This B & B is what a B & B should be. The beds are very comfortable. Every room has a jetted tub. Towels are super plush. There are multiple places to "be",in the well appointed living room by a winter fire, in the library by a winter fire,in the small conservatory, on the patio, in the outside gazebo or... More

My wife and I stayed here with another couple in our whirlwind trip of Washington. Words cannot describe how amazing the property and rooms are. From the moment you start down the driveway hidden in the woods, you are transported to one of the most tranquil and warm B&B's we have ever visited. The location makes it feel like you... More

This is a b and b that really has "gotten it right." There is so much attention to detail from crisp ironed sheets, to lovely decorating in all three rooms, tiny reading light in each bedside table, fragrant lavender soap, comfy slippers and fluffy towels and robes, coffee service delivered to the room before breakfast and on and on and... We were only able to stay one evening, but what a wonderful stay it was! We stayed in the Mallard room which was very clean, comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed coffee in our room in the morning snuggled up by the fireplace while taking in the view of the water. Before breakfast we sat around the big wood burning fireplace... More

Words really cannot express how much my husband, myself, and our friends enjoyed staying at this B&B. So CLEAN and inviting. The owners are very sweet, they know your needs even before you think they do. This is a must stay while visiting the area.

This was the second stay of our hopefully long history of staying at the Inn. Linda and Don are the friendly, thoughtful caretakers of this beautiful inn near the Nesqually Wildlife Reserve. From the food to a short kayak trip, we felt pampered and relaxed. Each room is elegantly designed with connections to the outdoors. We stayed in the Olympic... More
